Rude. I understand that customer service closes at 9:00 then why is the store open until 11:00 p.m. ? If they are not going to answer the phone they need to close the store when customer service closes! My husband went all the way there for a COVID test and was told he CANT BUY ONE B.C. the pharmacy is closed!! Seriously? Thiis store is a joke. This is not the first issue i have had. I will be telling people about this. i will drive to another Walmart before I return to this one.

Generally, everything is fine at this store. Today, as I was doing self-checkout, one of the workers came up to my register and did something with it where it showed the video of me scanning and bagging my groceries. As he turned away he said, "I sure hope you are not stealing." No, Ayden, I was not stealing. I have no idea why you came up to my register and said such a thing to me. I did let the manager who was on duty know what was said. She was very nice and apologetic, saying this young person was a new employee. It would seem to me that a new employee would have just recently gone through training where what to say to customers would have been covered. Maybe Ayden needs a refresher course already. A $200 bill was paid. If I was stealing, I'd be a really bad thief.

Lately out of stock on many items. Difficult to find some grocery items due to the way they're labeled.

Terrible store! No matter what they put on their shelves or price, the checkout is always pure hell. Not nearly enough checkout lanes open which have long lines with shoppers full of groceries, long lines at the self checkout (which are often more hassle). Shoppers grumpy at the conditions at checkout. No thanks, I avoid that store.

I have shopped in this Walmart before but this was my first time using the pickup service. It is great! I sat at home and picked out what I needed and submitted my order. They have you provide your payment info and then choose a time for the pickup. They send you verification of the time and your list and total. Since I was picking up Tuesday (I finished my order at 1am Monday) I also had several hours to add or remove items also. I then got another notice for my adjustments to the order. A couple of items were out of stock and they provided equal replacements if I wanted them, which I did. A notice was sent notifying me my order was ready. When I arrived there is a number to call on the markers for parking to do the pickup. There were 3 ahead of me. I waited only 10-15 minutes tops to get my order. The only man doing this was so nice and very fast. I say 5 min for mine because I had a big order. Heads up though. They brought my order out in stackable plastic totes that they empty into your own bags so make sure you bring enough to the Macedon store. My only complaint was the Walmart app. I could not get the app to work for letting them know I was on my way. That's not the store though. That's the comp

Store quality has declined. Management just isn't as good as in the past. They can't seem to keep enough employees to run the place. Empty shelves where goods should be. Not enough help around or cashiers.

What has happened to the store? Over the past couple of years it has steadily declined and is something of a merchandising catastrophe of late. If management decides to be more on the ball and read these reviews, they will see that many of their customers have seen a steady decline in the store over the last couple of years. Up until about a year ago I would never think to shop anywhere else, but have found myself spending the extra 10 minutes in the car to go to the Victor NY store which is always friendly, well stocked and organized. Of note, the Macedon location went about 90% self check out this past year. I was actually really excited to hear it when they announced it thinking that the staff they had would spend more time helping with the organization and merchandising of the store rather than being up front at the cash register. There always seems to be loads of employees throughout the store primping, stocking, straightening and attempting to get organized, but nothing ever seems to get finished. There are loads of empty shelves, merchandise stacked in boxes sloppily in the aisles, cart after heaping cart of re-shop items all over the place, and piles of boxes randomly stacked everywhere. I don't know who is managing the store, but they really need to get it together! I am also surprised that Headquarters hasn't done anything about it, I know that they visit their stores often.

when i came in and tried to return something from another store they claimed they didn't have the product in the store, fair.. until i found 10 boxes of this 3-shelf bookcase 5 minutes later, after the lady i spoke to said she was certain they weren't in the store. come time to check out, there is one register, which is fine cuz its 1am but the first person in line has literally 40 large plastic storage containers, i stood in line for 10 whole minutes while i watched a handful of employees stroll on by and do nothing about it. the store was an absolute mess, nothing organized whatsoever, it was truly difficult to differentiate between products. i'm livid standing in this line right now. i'm not one to leave reviews but this is the worst experience i've had in a while.

HORRIBLE!!! I usually avoid Walmart at all costs but they had an item that I couldn't find anywhere else. I ordered the item on-line and received an e-mail indicating that the item was ready to be picked up at their kiosk. I drove a considerable distance to get there only to find that the kiosk was down. Several employees (including customer service) told me it was a nationwide outage. When I called corporate customer service (twice), they told me this was not true. I was given many excuses as to why they couldn't possibly open the kiosk to retrieve my item or send it to my home with shipping fees waived. Ultimately, I cancelled the order. I refuse to give a business with such awful customer service my business. THIS is why I shop at Target!

This Walmart has steadily declined over its decade of life, to the point where they are chronically understaffed. Worse still, on any given day there are maybe 4 cash registers open and, if a customer does not want to wait forever just to purchase a few items, they must resort to the self-checkout. All of the express lanes are closed in favor of putting the customer to work because the store would rather not hire cashiers in order to keep the bottom line down. As Marx wrote, "In proportion therefore, as the repulsiveness of the work increases, the wage decreases." The Walton family drives down wages and exploits the proletariat in order to underwrite their bourgeoisie lifestyle. No more, I say. The Waltons cannot expect customers to work for free as cashiers. You will pay me for all the times I've gone through a self-checkout and provided you free labor. All profit is theft.

There are some lovely people at this location. They are kind, helpful, and truly pleasant. That said, it is unfortunate that there are so many, management included, who have no business working in retail. Shelves are poorly stocked, if at all. When they are stocked, the staff don't bother reading labels to ensure that merchandise is in the correct place. If it looks remotely like the rest on the shelf, it gets stuck there and left for customers to try to sort out. Damaged and dangerous merchandise is prominently placed. Tins of food, for people, or cats, or dogs, are proudly placed (often in the wrong spot), so consumers can get sick or sicken their pets if they buy the damaged containers. If a damaged container is returned because of damage, it is placed back on the shelf. Merchandise is carelessly and stupidly placed. Some is on shelves far over my head. Since staff are not to be found, I either try to figure out how to get it myself if no other shoppers are in sight. I can't wait for someone to show up to help. Once while trying to get merchandise placed so high, I learned that it had been tossed up there, not even stacked, and it came down in my face, causing a bruise and damaging my glasses. Management refused to help, the manager sneered at me while I tried to explain what had happened, turned his back and left. I contacted corporate but they did nothing. The store is filthy. It used to be kept clean but now, just plucking merchandise from the shelves makes my hands dirty. I need to carry wipes in my purse to keep clean. Outdated stock is left on shelves. I don't know if the staff stuck with stocking are illiterate or just don't care. I know that outside merchandisers often leave outdated stock behind in hope of selling but the store staff need to be vigilant and prevent this. When I do come across staff, they stand in the middle of aisles talking. They make customers work their way around them and never acknowledge the customers' presence. Even asking if I could please get by results in silence, and no one moves. Because of these issues, I'm left wondering if this store will be closed. It probably ought to be. For the few excellent employees at this store, I'm sorry about the terrible report. You are the reason I keep coming here, because you really make my day. But to be strictly honest, the store is falling apart due to poor management and poor hiring. Let's get a Wegmans instead.b

Apparently, the staff at this Walmart didn't get the memo that visiting "celebrities" are there to drive MORE business to their store. My wife and daughter went out to pick up Rosanna Pansino baking merchandise at midnight tonight because all of the information available on Rosanna's website said "the first 300 people THE DAY OF her event making a purchase of her items would receive tickets to her meet and greet event at this store at 1PM". My wife and daughter obviously were not the first people to ask for the merchandise when they got there. The cashier they spoke to said "What baking things? For that YouTuber, that meet and greet girl? The stuff doesn't go out until 7AM." The words were said with disdain. My wife tried to find a manager - none was available, so they walked the store to find where the baking supplies would be and found someone stocking the shelves and repeated the inquiry - He stood up and looked at my wife disgustedly when all she asked was "can you help me?" Then he said "Is this about that YouTuber?" When my wife said yes, he repeated that it wouldn't be out for sale until 7AM. It's unfortunate that the Walmart site had no information about the event and that Rosanna Pansino's site said "the first 300 people the day of the show" coupled with Walmart being a 24 hour operation. My family really didn't want to have to be out a Midnight in order to qualify for the tickets. They certainly didn't enjoy being treated like shit. Just one more reason we avoid Walmarts like the plague. It's a very good way to help out Amazon, Target, Wegman's, BJ's. Rosanna is also doing these meet and greets at JoAnne and Michael's stores - it's too bad she or her staff didn't select one of these - and closer to Rochester for the event. The Macedon store obviously doesn't want to support it and their employees absolutely resent her out of the box. My wife and I started out working part time in high school for a mass merchandiser of the day - our sales training was long and loud on SERVING the CUSTOMER, not being rude and disdainful of them. This is a great way to get your store closed and you to be out of a job.

Bigger than other Wal-Marts, lots of different things, and super polite staff!
