Beer was cold and coffee was hot and fresh. Server was very pleasant and concerned that our experience was more than satisfactory.”

“Joan's Cones is a seasonal ice cream stand, which is located next door to Quack's Village Inn. They offer soft serve (vanilla & chocolate) and hard scoop ice cream (12 flavors) in cones, dishes, dips, sundaes, flurries, milkshakes and pup pops (small vanilla with 2 milkbones), woof!!! I stopped by recently for ice cream on a hot day. The hours were very limited, but I waited around for them to open at 3pm on a Friday afternoon. They were giving out free ice cream cones all weekend, probably trying to softly close for the season. I got a Medium Maine Blueberry Hard Ice Cream Cone (normally $3.60). I had to eat the ice cream quickly since it was hot outside and the ice cream was dripping onto my hands. Luckily I had an empty cup in my car to put the excess purple ice cream into and really enjoy the ice cream and wafer cone with my coffee.”

“We’ve had Pizza’s from all over the Utica area. I’ll say that we are fortunate to have many good Pizza places to choose from.New York Pizzeria is hands down the best. Their entire family welcomes you every time tou go there. Simply fabulous!!!”

“The food for my sons graduation party was delicious and plentiful! Many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and asked where this was. The only problem we had was the packaging. I would recommend cardboard boxes to transport as the half pans of baked beans leaked all over.”

“Really cute little store/deli that serves the Hamilton area and Colgate. Was highly recommended on a student tour. Had a great veggie burger, good sandwiches, a soup of the day. Nice selection of take out beers. Perfect for picnic or students on the run. A few tables to eat in. Good!”

He got the "heart attack" with a side of toast, I ordered fresh fruit and some delicious coffee.I always checked the restroom out as my old boss used to say that you can judge a restaurant by how clean their restroom is. This establishment definetely passed the test.”

“I love this local coffee shop in Hamilton! The coffee is flavorful and always perfect! The last time we were there, my husband and I ordered breakfast sandwiches! They were made to order and delicious! They were also accompanied with a unique choice of sides. I had the overnight oats. You have the option of seating inside or outside. The only downside was the wait for our order, but it was well worth the wait!”

“We go here every year in June and August. Forget any negative reviews left by ignorant fools. This restaurant has the best wait staff and service. The warm setting and wonderful charm of this historic building is simply enchanting. The food is divine, never once in all years we've eaten at the Landmark have we ever had a negative experience. The prices are very reasonable when you consider the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the chef and their staff in preparing each dish to order. So long as the landmark is open and I am alive, I will always eat their when I'm in town.”

“The freshest authentic french style pastries with coffees, chai, and other drinks. I had the almond croissant, which was flaky, buttery, and honestly the best I've ever had. My wife had the Kouign-amann, which she said was amazing, and would not share!! She also loved her decaf latte. Local family run. Come early, as I'm told they sell out fast. We will be back.”

“Wonderful golf club atmosphere. Overlooks the golf course and a stones throw from Colgate University. You have to try the Phuket chicken wrap. A wonderful combination of sweet and savory with buffalo sauce and sweet chili coleslaw. Laura and Adelina made sure I was well taken care of and although very busy took the time to make sure everyone was enjoying their visit.”

“First time trying this place and I would HIIIGHLY recommend. I'm over the moon addicted to the steamed dumplings and sauce that comes with it. We ordered multiple items and every last piece was simply delicious. Cooked perfectly, full of amazing flavor, and very obviously cooked prior to handing over (was still steaming hot when we got home - 20 minutes). Very happy we tried this place and most certainly will definitely be going back. “Ive been coming to this place for almost 2 years and let me say this is hands down the best school dining option at colgate university. One full moon night i went to Donnies and got a quesadilla with wings but the quesadilla tasted like a tortellini. The small wooden boxes that they put our food in needs to GO. There is no space in them to fit multiple different foods. The customer service is MAGICAL. GRETA IS A PRINCESS QUEEN. One day i saw a worker with glitter under their eyes dressed as a mermaid...i didn't question it because wow fashion. Donnies is very very spacious and sometimes they hold events which is pretty cool. Having a unlimited meal plan is amazing because it stops my bank account dropping like a submarine. There are so many food options at Donnies. This is truly the best place to get late night food (also the only place). YOU BETTER GO!!!”

“The Fort is large with lots of space with a rustic, cabin-like atmosphere. Looks like it would be a fun bar to hang out in, but we were there for lunch. Food was okay, nothing spectacular, and despite only a few people at the bar, service was very slow. The waitress/bartender was very nice, personable. She, the atmosphere, and our conversation made up for the slow service thongh.Wheelchair accessibility: From the road, you see only steps, but there is parking behind the building and a wheelchair accessible door.”

It's a peaceful place where students can come get something to eat or drink and then sit at tables that allow for studying or simply talking with friends. The option for outdoor dining is also available. Set on the 5th floor of the campus library the views are stunning.”
