The service was good and atmosphere was okay, and the food wasn't good at all,I had a deluxe burger and fries, they were just cooked and when I received them they were cold, not to mention the waitress gave me a sample of a few slices of brisket, which was dry&tasteless,if it wasn't for the sauce that came with,it would be good, the sauce was not bad just a little on the watery side, the sauce could have been a little bit more thicker.Overall it's a pretty good spot,if you love BBQ.

We loved this spot for years. I'm sorry to say, unfortunately we had a bad experience this time. On our most recent visit, 3 of our four meals were inedible. The food tasted reheated, at best. The shredded bbq sandwich was cold, rubbery and dry, with a cold soggy bun. The pastrami was cold and crunchy. The Mac and cheese was cold, and floury. Almost grainy. The ribs were squishy inside. Portions of the side were tiny. Actually sad to see the change when we left there.

Some of the worst bbq I’ve had in my life. Ribs and brisket were embarrassing. Mac N Cheese had no flavor. Avoid this place.

If you're at Fahnestock, definitely detour here. Great food, drinks and service. Recommend the ribs, pulled pork, mac n cheese, spinach and even the coffee.

Genuinely a terrible experience. We asked to be indoors - they sat us outside[in view of the inside table that we asked about - it was EMPTY the whole time we were there]. The outdoor is cold and uninviting. Cheaply decorated with poorly installed icicles and propane heaters under a pergola? Beers were flavorless. Food was just as bad if not worse. Dry, lacked flavor and the BBQ sauce squeeze bottle had ants in it. The McRib from Mcdonalds is better tasting than what we were served. The chorizo burger was not cooked through - I am currently dealing with it if you get my drift. The mac & cheese tasted like saw dust with all the bread crumbs and deplorable lack of cheese. Kids burger was a slider on a normal bun - why? We love BBQ, and this was a massive let down on Fathers Day. Server was lovely and the only bright side of the night. Also a bunch of kids were playing on the lawn and they were yelled at by some angry dude who clearly is miserable with his life.

I went there a few months back and the food was not good. We had some friends visiting this week that wanted to go there for dinner, so I said let's give it another shot. The food was still not good, the beer was flat. I've never had a chicken quesadilla that tasted like nothing until today. The chicken had no flavor and it was onions, cheese, and flavorless chicken. Only good thing was the waitress. She was very nice

Casual, jeans and T shirts, this is a great place to try the large panel of draft beers available. A few flights will offer a wide variety. The barbecue is ok. The fried chicken is not so ok. BEST thing to order is the "Pig-Nic" which is four different meats, four different sides, and oddly, three corn muffins. The meats include brisket, chorizo, St Louis ribs, 1/2 chicken and baby backs for a surcharge. The sides are tiny but delicious - creamed spinach, beans, smashed potatoes, sweet potato fries. The Pig-Nic easily feeds four (they claim two ppl). The staff is friendly, helpful, and bring flights very quickly.

This is a great place to sit at the bar or bring the whole family! The BBQ is wonderful, I especially loved the house-made pastrami! Get out and treat yourself to great meal in a fantastic setting!
