“We went to Harvest House before a show and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and even though we sat at the bar it felt like we were part of the whole room. By the time we finished, the place was buzzing in the best way.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived a little behind schedule, and made sure we could still enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

We ordered from both the specials and the main menu and enjoyed some excellent cocktails. Every dish felt fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Harvest House perfectly captures that farm-to-tavern feel — warm, welcoming, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!”

“In a small town like Malverne, you only have three decent delis to choose from, and every morning it’s the same story, long lines. When you’re trying to grab breakfast before work, every minute counts. Add in a full parking lot, no spots out front, and now you’re parking on the street risking a ticket. And if you live in Malverne, you know the “friendly” meter maid, he’s quick with those tickets. It sucks. I don’t think the owner of this deli realizes what we go through just trying to support a local business.
In my attempt to save time, I call my order in ahead. But if I still have to wait on line just to tell the counter guy I’m there for pickup, it defeats the whole purpose. Creating two lines would fix this: one for people who call ahead (like me, who’s late everywhere) and one for walk-ins. You’d streamline the phone order process, serve more customers, and make mornings a lot smoother. Funny enough, I had this same conversation with a few neighbors, and they said they skip buying breakfast in town altogether for this exact reason.

My second suggestion: have one person dedicated to charging customers. It doesn’t make sense for the guys behind the counter who are preparing food to put on rubber gloves, grab money, make change, and then go right back to handling food with the same gloves.

Besides that, when you do have time, enjoy the food because it’s great!”

“This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.

They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.”

“Very fairly priced South Indian vegetarian restaurant/canteen in Flushing, located in the basement of the temple. The food was delicious and at the same time wasn't too oily. Although, the snacks were a bit on the expensive end, I felt, but definitely a must-visit.”
