Nonna Carola Ristorante and Bar

Nonna Carola is a resteraunt I was suprised me and my mother had never tried but in all I was glad we did. I got the salmon and it was utterly delicious and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting fish. However I must say I was accosted by the music for my entire supper! Song after song of non copyright music! We laughed, we cried! We laughed again but couldn’t contain our level of suprize at what the following hit the AI singer was going to sing! What a show that no copyright music did put on for us! Oh my! Overall Nonna Carola is a wonderful resteraunt with a beautiful dining space and excellent food but only come if you are ready to laugh and listen to the hits of today and yesteryear sung by strange robots to new melodies.

While I have been to the restaurant two times and enjoyed the food which is excellent, I had a very bad experience with the host. I made a reservation for four online through their restaurant website. When I arrived, the restaurant was empty but for about two or three tables. I gave my name and said I had a reservation. The host challenged that I had a reservation and I advised I made it online. He then insisted seeing the confirmation of the reservation on my phone, despite my party waiting to be seated. I tried to find it initially on my phone and couldn't, while he kept insisting. After a few minutes another staff at the restaurant came over and said we could be seated. I then located the reservation (which was made directly through their website) and got up to show the host just to make the point. The host was terribly disrespectful to me and my party and demonstrated incredibly bad customer service. I would give this restaurant a 0 for that. Would never go back.

I’ve been here a few times now, and every single visit has been consistently excellent.

The service is always top-notch. The bartender in particular deserves a shoutout because the drinks are made perfectly every time.

The food is absolutely amazing—everything I’ve had has been amazing. And for the quality you’re getting, the prices are very reasonable, which makes it even better.

I’ve recommended this place to so many people already, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. It’s one of those spots you can always count on for a great experience.

I decided to pick an Italian restaurant for my sister’s birthday this week and I was very happy with Nonna Carola in Mamaroneck. Such a beautiful ambiance and incredible service. We decided to share the eggplant rollatini which was delicious! My daughter is a picky eater and has never tried this before and now she loves it! For my main dish I decided to go with the ribeye steakhouse that came with mushrooms and asparagus! So juicy! The steak sauce was amazing! My daughter ordered the chicken parm, and the birthday girl had the chicken pizzaiola. The flavor and tenderness were incredible. Since we were so full we decided to share the lava cake and that was definitely a hit! Our waiter Flavio was super attentive, informative and kind. Shared a few laughs with my mom 🤦🏽‍♀️ lol We will definitely be back! This place is definitely a great spot for date nights, dinner with the fam, bridal showers, etc. Beautiful!

The best Italian restaurant in Mamaroneck. Perhaps all of Southern Westchester. Truly a welcoming, fun and delicious gem.

Atmosphere: beautiful, elevated, thoughtful decor, great 'mood' lighting, large with high ceilings. A bustling, fun, community vibe.

They offer a private party room and an outdoor space with a fireplace. So special.

Food: We had mushroom ravioli, caprese (tomato and buffalo mozzarella) grilled artichoke, beet salad, chicken capriciosa (like milanese style) and eggplant rollatini. The fresh bread selection and seasoned evoo was hard to stop eating. EVERYTHING WAS TRULY EXCELLENT.

What a great restaurant. Beautiful venue, not overly noisy, terrific staff, friendly and very professional . The food was the best Italian food I’ve had ever, and I’m older, have eaten at hundreds of Italian restaurants. We came because it was near the Emelin theater, but I’ll be back for the restaurant alone. Danny, the manger was also very friendly and nice to speak with. On a scale of 1-5, this place is a 7.
