“We spent valentines at one of our favorite local places yesterday, it was really busy our reservation was at 7 the height of dinner rush. We enjoyed every aspect of JC’s from the hostess to the servers to the much needed delicious dinner and ambiance! We started with chicken nachos and garlic bread, main course we had Norwegian lamb chops on a mountain of potatoes yum! I ordered the panko chicken with baby rigatonis peas buratta in a sherry sauce and what a trip to flavor town! The food here never disappoints even when we order takeout it’s always delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner what a lovely hard working lady! All that she does to provide the best experience shines bright through her staff and patrons. We tested out little cheese cakes that were outrageous I don’t even like cheesecake and I ate them at first not knowing what they were. they were creamy and yummy and delicious I didn’t know I could like something so much that I didn’t like anywhere else. The strawberry was Huge and I ate every last bit we were stuffed I had to take home almost half of my dinner which we ate today! Jcs you do a exemplary service to our town thank you for a wonderful night, my pictures don’t do your food justice but I’m posting them anyway lol!”

“Got to sample 4 beers including the delicious Farmhouse Saison. One is more delicious than the other! And if you're lucky enough to catch the Right Coast Taco Truck, then you've hit the jackpot!”

“This is the only deli that cooked my over easy eggs correctly since I've been on NY... these are the nicest people you want to meet ... very very friendly and inviting... besize that the breakfast sandwiches are off the chain... if you're in the area and/or passing by... check them out... you will not be sorry ...hot and fresh always and reasonable too”

“Open, cozy, clean, and well lit. Nice music selection, classical and operatic ballads.Booth was comfortable. Service was friendly though a bit slower-paced. This allowed us time to chat and look at the menu, but if we were pressed for time or starving, it might have been an issue. Food was great! Spinach, strawberry, and feta salad and spinach salad with bacon and mushroom both were tasty and not overdressed. Grandma slice had lots of saucy tomatoes and peppers. I didn't specify crispy, but I did wish it were crispier. Fried calamari appetizer was served with a generous bowl of delicious marinara. A few of the pieces had a hard bit. Would definitely come back!”

“I stopped in for a cocktail. The bartender was a super sweet girl. If my memory is correct her name was Brenda. I enjoyed my time spent there. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly casual drinking establishment.”

The bagels are always super fresh because they are made in the store every day. most bagel places not making their own bagels anymore this place is a throwback old school bagel shop. staff was friendly and helpful food came out fast and hot. I will be back for breakfast again for sure. cant wait to try some of there lunch specials.”

“Despite the recent reviews, I decided to give Xing Fu a try. Ordered a few different things and cautiously tried them all... And each one was good. Nothing tasted bad or had a weird consistency or anything. Just a solid Chinese takeout. The worst I can say is that the dumplings are probably frozen, but they were still perfectly enjoyable. Overall, is this the best I've ever had? No. Is it better than the past few 1 stars they have gotten? Yes. I'll definitely go again and try some other things on the menu. Seriously, this place is worth a try if they are your local spot.”

“excellent spot to watch football. great specials, a lot of tvs, all the games ??edit to clarify the pricing category. Google asks how much I SPENT per person. we get 5-7 pitchers in addition to food when we're there which really pumps the $/PP up but it's still an absolute bargain for what you get. those football specials are something else.”

“Hands-down this is the best place for ice cream on the North Fork. During the summer, there are lines down the street to get into this place , so off-season it's a breeze to get the best ice cream or soft serve. Staff are very friendly and I highly recommend this place all year round! Gave it 4 stars bc it lacks ambience (yet you will not care!!). The homemade pistachio ice cream is something you must try . And it is right next door to Funchos, another great local place to frequent.”

“I arrived just after they closed, but they offered to make me a sandwich anyway, I picked the tuna lettus and tomato, asked me if I wanted macaroni or coleslaw since I was driving and honestly am not a fan of either, they let me get a bag of cheetos. the made the sandwich and the Tuna sandwich was amazing! now stop for just a minute and think back the entirety of your life, have you ever heard the phrase the tuna sandwich was amazing? probably not, but this one was great. maybe because it was amazing or maybe i was really hungry, but I think it was both. it was a really good sandwich. the people were nice, and the place had an enjoyable atmosphere, I'll be back for a $100 burger. they aren't $100 it's a pilot's expression. but I will be back.”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Love the outdoor area (and saw kids with parents there loving it too!) as well as the inside of the shop. It's cozy and perfect. Staff was very nice even though I had trouble deciding between the amazing pastries and quiches. Went to heaven when we got home. “Just had lunch from A Wing Away Kitchen. The food was excellent, wings cooked perfectly, sauces were incredible. The best part was the staff! The owner gave us a taste of his chicken and rice (absolutely incredible!) and his “not spicys” sauce was better than spicys ever was! If you haven’t checked it out you should have dinner there tonight.”

“My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapeños, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place!”
