Don Juan

STILL the best Mexican restaurant in New York after all these years. If you go home hungry, go to the doctor, something is wrong with you! Their rice and refried beans can be described in two words: Consistently Good! OMG the flavor! I am soiled by them to the point I go to other places and compare them to Don Juan! Food was good but way overpriced ($28 for a basic chicken quesadilla that comes with a small portion of rice and beans). I asked if they had frozen margaritas and was told which flavors come frozen. I ordered one of the options available in frozen but it came on the rocks. When I said I ordered a frozen one, I was told that's just how the drinks are made.

Starting off with the good... the staff, although slow, were super friendly. The chips and salsa came out very quickly, but it took about 15-20 minutes for someone to come to our table to take our drink/food order. The food turned out good, but took a while to get to the table. We got chimichanga's and enchiladas; $28 per plate.
