Had an amazing time, an absolutely phenomenal meal, and heard some fantastic comics at Brasserie by Chef Aless comedy night! It’s in Massapequa right off Merrick road. Highly recommend this restaurant, every time we eat there the food is amazing. Must try items on the menu: mussels, french onion soup, wedge salad, any steaks they are making, branzino, even the burger and fries! Pat the bar tender is the man and makes the best cocktails. First time at restaurant. Didn't meet expectations for a French Brasserie. Thought they'd have been on tap, only had bottled beer. For the service, the host was very friendly, shook our hands when we arrived and when we left. Was chatty. The waitress though seemed distracted and wasn't that attentive. Food was decent. Some of my scallops were tough but my wife's lamb was very good. Not sure if I'd go back.
This is a hidden gem in Massapequa Park. The food is outstanding, the drinks are made very well, and the service is great. The rosemary hanger steak, coq au vin, and bouillabaisse are my go to. But everything on the menu is exceptional.
