“I came in for the first time on a busy Saturday night, January 31st. in the middle of dinner rush. the place was crowded. a lot of people were standing waiting to be seated as well as leaving. when we got up to the counter two different girls assed how many people were in my party? I said four. all of a sudden the manager I'm assuming and older Asian gentlemen came over and asked the same thing. I responded the same way then he tells me."oh there's a dress code" to which I look at him strangely because I thought I was dressed fine. nice blouse and khaki pants. my husband and daughter were also dressed appropriately. looking around there were people in the doorway smoking who were dressed in hoodies and ripped jeans. so what was this man talking about?. I questioned him just in case. I didn't understand what he had said. but again he said there's a dress code. So I question what what was wrong with the way I was dressed?. to which he answered maybe another time you come back? no maybe it was because I was handicapped and in a wheelchair taking up a lot of space!!!!! I see from the other review posted here. not too long ago. another customer witnessed the rudeness of the staff at this establishment. trust me I will Never be back.“

“This place has always been great. Very busy. Usuallay a 15 to 30 min wait. The food is good and the stations have staff keeping an eye on things. Some disrespectful patrons can't wait for their table so they eat a plate in the waiting area. Also see people stuffing their pockets with icecream bars and cups on the was out . Shame. Reasonable price. Great food. Nice food options. Also didn't see anyone tip the waitress who gets your drinks and cleans up the.plates.“

“First I have to say, this restaurant looks great. The renovations are well done. It’s clean and spacious. I got a stew chicken platter with rice, peas, and plantains. The food was wonderful. The owner was super sweet to me and told me all about the breakfast options. I came back today to try it out and the door was locked. It was 8:50am. I was like noooo! lol. I know things happen. This place has great food and great service. I’ll try again for the breakfast. lol.“

“I’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. While I understand that food cost have gone up, putting a mandatory 18% tip on the check is not appreciated. I’m getting up numerous times to get my food, the wait staff brigs water and tea. I feel a 15% tip is more then enough.“
