Bijou Reviews
We celebrated our anniversary at Bijou in Melville last weekend & it was our first time dining there. I was impressed that they have the kitchen behind a glass wall so that you can see just how clean they keep it! Our waitress was excellent, gave us some great suggestions & was all around a very attentive server.

Not at all what i expected from high end restaurant and epicyclically a Scotto owned one. Food was horrible and so was service. Sadly food was basic with blah flavor. Was there for a birthday party with 20+ people, most in group where disappointed. Other Scotto owned restaurant like Blackstone so far superior in service and food.
I think $55 prix fixe is fair but no starch or veggie with entree was cheap. Food tasty but certainly not extraordinarily. Had to take dessert to go because 45 min wait after dinner. We had reservations and many empty tables
