“Ordered takeout a couple of times before and went to their Easter brunch event (which was phenomenal). The staff were lovely / genuinely caring and you can tell, really wanted all of the kids (and adults) to have a great time. Love this place and will be going back. Thank you Madison and team!“
“This is my first ever Google review of anything … but think it is important to let people know that Tommys Tacos at the Old Big H shopping Center is doing everything right. Last week I hosted a poker tournament for 16 guys and went to Tommy’s Based upon my own Experience with his food as well as my Guests … who are all “foodies” and endorsed the decision. We rotate the game once a month and each month someone cooks or caters and in the the 5 years of the league (60 games) everyone agrees that Tommy’s knocked it out of the park. I worked with Bella in Catering but Tommy was good enough to step in and make the perfect selection. We went with a Tray pf Birria Tacos … Tray of Mixed Burritos … Street Salad topped with Blackened Shrimp … Chips … Salsa … Guacamole. We picked it up and the packaging was incredible in Tommy’s Tacos Boxes … Tommy even helped take it to the car. He treats his staff and customers right and it shows in the finished product. We have a lot of choices in town … but if you do not hit Tommy’s … you are missing the best Mexican in Town. They have recently added a bar and the servers are always incredible. Also … plenty of parking. If you are doing Shop Right … Home Depot … you have to stop in and get at least a Birria Taco and Margharita … it will remain your Staple for Mexican in Huntington. I also want to add … there was enough food to last all night and into the morning. The next day I took the left overs to a friends job site and fed three other guys who agreed … best they ever had … it it was a day old!!! Tommy also took my call the next day when I had the question … what is the best way to warm up and serve the next day. Again .. in Tommy you have a guy that is great and proud of what he does and does not over prove what he has to offer.“
“It’s a owner operator business, Manuel, is a star! Went in for lunch with my good friend he was Very attentive. We had the shrimp quesadilla and chicken crunch wrap! Three different mild sauces and three different hot sauces . Their homemade hot sauce was excellent! Chorizos was spectacular! Nobody’s gonna run it the way you want it! Thank you Manuel!Parking: I had no problem parking in front of the business.“
“I am not one to write reviews, but this place deserves top marks all around. Drinks while you wait, terrific service, food that hits the spot, and you do not feel rushed to leave. How many places can you say that about? There is always something new to try, but you can always fall back to a favorite as well. The staff alone is worth the trip alone, Steph knows the menu and gives the best recommendations.“
“The nachos are spectacular, good flavor, very reasonable quantity-quality-price ratio. Everything is super fresh. Acceptable waiting time. The mango sauce is delicious - I can't stop ordering it. The pupusas are very delicious. The chicken quesadillas are excellent for children.“
“This place is sooooooooo goooood! The food is extremely delicious ? perfect portions and the sauce is delectable! We love the tortas here! They come so quick and are very fairly priced. The agua de jamaica here makes me crave another cup. My new weekend favorite!“
“I was very skeptical of this place at first, but it was amazing. So the concept is Italian-Mexican food. It works. And it works very well.We ordered 3 tacos as well as the surf and turf quesadilla. I was absolutely blown away by the taste and quality of everything. The quesadilla was one of the best I've had in a long time. The steak was juicy, the shrimp wasn't chewy, and the flavors were amazing. For tacos, we got the ital-Americano, chicken parm, and maialino. Every one was tasty in its own way. The Ital-Americano was super juicy, the chicken parm was just delicious chicken parm in a shell, and the mialino was juicy with just the right amount of spice.I need to remember next time to sign up for the rewards program since I know I'll be back there a lot.Parking: Parking all over.“
“My gf and I were on the hunt for some good authentic Mexican tacos. We stumbled upon this place on a whim doing a quick google search and the reviews were very good. So we decided to stop in for dinner and we quickly realized why! Everything was on point from the customer service, to the food/food quality and the portions. We will return…“
“Honestly, I went to this place two weekends in a row and was pleasantly surprised with how yummy it was. I love that I was able to order everything on lettuce wraps. Kung Pow chicken spicy, caramelized Brussels sprouts, and Vietnamese shrimp were among my favorites. I honestly wouldn’t recommend ordering the salsa here. It’s a little affected. One of my friends mentioned that it looked like alla-vodka sauce, and I agree he wasn’t wrong.“
“I don’t even know where to begin about how fantastic the food and service is. My sons and I came in for the first time today and thoroughly enjoyed our tacos and quesadillas. Additionally, the empanadas totally live up to the hype of being the best empanadas! We tried the chicken, beef, Buffalo chicken and Oreo empanadas, and they were all amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we are planning to take my husband to pick up dinner there tonight or tomorrow. And get yourself a fruity drink here; it’s fresh and delicious. Support this local business; it’s phenomenal!“
“My go-to for breakfast bacon egg and cheese on a roll or croissant depending on the day you grab yourself for iced tea they got food hot Deli they make tacos delicious can't go wrong Lindy's Deli❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️?“
“I ordered the Al pastor Mexico taco trio and a couple of beef tacos tonight 12/02/23. The food was delicious!!! The hot sauces both green and red.... delicious!! I ordered for take out and the order was ready quickly. The business is easily recognized as you drive up and passed. The place is clean and has a few tables for sitting down for a meal if you choose. I will certainly order from them again and I would recommend to anyone to give them a try! Well done ?“
“It's a very cool spot with tons of character and fun. We went on trivia Wednesday. It felt like a fun neighborhood place where friends always meet. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to my husband. It's definitely a great , chill place to get yummy comfort food.“
“So i googled gyros by my work just to try something new and found this spot. I drove there and then realized it’s a gas station lol ohhhh but can looks be deceiving i walked in and was already negatively set but i said screw it im here. This was one of the best beef gyro sandwiche and fries I've had in a very long time. Honestly delicious meat was tender fries crispy and the 2 sauces they put on fire… Definitely will recommend it to anyone the gyro wasn’t huge it was on the smaller side but flavor made up for that. Insane how some small hidden gas station shop can great such an amazing gyro definitely check it out i got the gyro was with lettuce tomato cabbage and pickles sound strange for a gyro but it just works… Will 100% be going back……$15 dollars well spent honestly..“
“Honestly don't let the appearance of the deli fool you. The tacos are amazing . Lil whole In the wall spot in Farmingdale with great Mexican food. I was working in the area and was looking for some cheap eats and came across this place. The tacos were amazing and definitely not cheap, but we'll worth it. $15 dollars for 3 tacos. Delicious food and very kind workers! They have a good variety of snacks and hot food made fresh daily. The quality of chicken and freshness of the tacos was a 10/10! If ever in this area again I look forward to trying different food options. Amazing Mexican tacos!!! Love the authenticity of their Mexican food.“
“I don't say this too often, but Ruby Soho's is perfection! From the staff being awesome, Chris and Caitlin ((hope that's the way she spells it)) were beyond nice and professional. Always checking to see if our glasses needed to be filled or just seeing if we were still vibing. The music played is my type of tunes. Punk, Rock, and Emo... How could you go wrong?? Also the deco is raw, edgy and yet still welcoming. Surly a place you could chill for hours. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, and specialty drinks. And the food.. The food is of 5star quality. The shredded beef taco was seriously one of the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of eating and the fried pickled jalapeños were surprisingly amazing. Far beyond what I expected... If you're in the area, I 100% say stop on in! You won't be disappointed!!“
“Such an underrated gem in Seaford. They have both a nice patio in the back decorated to give all the island vibes as well seating out front on the street side, and of course indoor availability. Service was very personable and quick from drinks through the end of the meal. They certainly don't skimp on the variety of options food wise from starters, quesadillas, tacos to wraps etc. Drink wise I went with the "Mammacita Needs A Margarita" aka a Spicy Marg. Loved the addition of cucumber to the drink to balance it and give it a little refreshing aspect. Food wise we just got a smattering of tacos (Luger, Tropical Lobstahhh, Birria, Al Pastor, Carne Smack Dat Asad and the Cali-Flower) just to try and sample a little of everything. First and foremost, the portions are legit - they don't skimp out so you'll be full or even have extra to take home. Taste wise, my top 3 were the Luger, Lobster and Cali-Flower. All very flavorful and unique in their own way. Definitely will be back once the weather heats up!“
“As soon as I walked into the place. The lady at the front greeted me with kindness and welcomed me. She asked for what I would liked and made the food quickly. The tacos itself were perfectly made and watered my mouth with tasty flavors. I highly recommend and will return again! -Thank “
“I've been coming here for more than I want to admit and makes me feel old. I'm going to keep this very honest in respect to using common sense/speculation/as well as responding to some of the comments on here. We haven't been there in quite some time...surprised to see the place redecorated. My wife loved it...I understand it. I'm one of those people that walk into a pizzeria and see faded red Formica tables, benches and dated dingy decor as a good thing. I was never bothered by aesthetics as it seems seasoned and perfected like the food im about to indulge in. The old international cafe had a plethora of food, nothing that wow'd you BUT was consistently good even though they had a great variety. The freshly made waffles, variety of gelato and fresh whip cream needs no review. People who complain about noise should just stay home with their mask on. You are talking about an open place restaurant that is a staple of a community for decades. Why in 2024 are people so miserable to see others so happy. Place is jammed back...what do you expect it to sound like? People complaining about kids are the same $hit parents who rather hand their kid a iPad instead of letting them socialize. When we go there we expect it to be busy, loud, kids be kids, great food, great service and pay cash. With new owner ship comes many things and one them was the menu. We were thrown off since we were expecting our usual order. A lot of their items on the menu can be easily replicated at home. When we go out to eat we only order what we don't make for the most part. My wife ordered their Chicken Tenders which was made fresh as they were chicken cutlets cut down. I thought it was OK my wife was not happy bc the crispy bread outside came off the chicken itself. We also got wings and beer battered onion rings. Onion rings were great and wings are wings. We don't deep fry in the house for many reasons...we never ordered anything deep fried at the old spot either. Got their loaded potato skins which my wife enjoyed as well. Reviews about the new whip cream being OFF in taste is correct. Gelato tasted the same to us which was good. Price seemed fair for what we got compared to others places we have gone too. Best of luck to the new owners and staff. I honestly don't think we will be back bc happy wife happy life Our waitress was PHENOMENAL“
“This restaurant is similar to a Chipotle or Moe's, as you come in and order at the counter and walk down the showcase choosing what you'd like. It's separated into two different departments. One is Mexican style options (salads, tacos, fajitas, etc...) and the other is frozen yogurt and traditional salads (Greek, Caesar, etc). The restaurant in itself is spacious and clean! And the staff was so helpful, friendly and patient. Here's what we ordered! A chopped Greek salad, a Vegetarian Iguana salad, a Lost Coast sandwich and a Diet Coke. The Greek salad was very large and filled with all different veggies. The dressing, a little too much, but more is better then skimpy. I'd ask for a little less dressing next time. The Iguana salad was filled, tasty, and hit the spot! Both salads came with tortilla chips which were a perfect complement to the salads. Now, the fish sandwich was fair. The fish was cold, not crispy and underwhelming for sure. But, the coleslaw on top was very good. The sodas are refillable which is a plus. Lastly, the prices were fair and decent. Overall, for a taco/salad joint this place holds the 5 stars well.“
“(Translated by Google) Very good pupusas and the food on the display looks very tasty and fresh, portions are large and the girls are very friendly and smiling ???? I like it ????(Original)Muy buenas pupusas y la comida en el display se ve muy rica y fresca, porciones son grandes y las chicas son muy amables y sonrientes ???? megusta ????Features: No lo rekisitan pero es bueno siempre protejerse“
“Still going strong and only better since they opened. They change tacos to seasons and they have something for everyone on the menu including vegan choices. Margaritas always on point and a chill relaxing spot to hang or grab dinner. A plus, The owner (JEFF) Is a sweet heart. only wants to please his customer and have them leave happy and wanting to come back. He is quick to get on anything you might need ! Go check it out you will be very happy you did!“
“The atmosphere gets 2 stars because the music is so loud that you can't have a conversation. Maybe they keep it loud to you get out of there quicker because there's always a wait of 45 minutes or more. Sad because we've been coming here since 2013, when you could sit and enjoy a meal without ear damage. :(“
“Nice little place..I usually order the Mahi Mahi tacos. You can get them.fried, grilled or blackened. I always get them blackened but I tell the to go easy on the seasonings so it's not too spicy. The order comes with 2 big tacos and a side which for 14 bucks is pretty good and the Fish is always fresh.“
“Service:FriendlyAmbiance:Comfortable.Food:These were delicious:Gauc and chipsCoconut Margherita Ahi tuna on a flour tacoTropical shrimp on a flour tacoGrilled fish on a flour tacoThese were ok:Sweet Chilli shrimp taco on hard shellPulled pork on a corn taco“
“My wife and I tried this place after I saw an Instagram on it a few months ago. That trip I tried the hot buttery lobster roll and my wife enjoyed her fried clams. We wondered why this place wasn't more popular We tried DJ's again today, again the place was empty but we knew that we were going to enjoy the food. I had the Lobster Roll with a side of sweet potato fries, we shared the baked clams and my wife loved her shrimp tacos. We travel for great food and we live at least 20 miles from a DJ's but well worth the trip, as we were leaving we asked the girls working, why this place was empty ( except for another couple) who joined our conversation about the quality of food here. I hope you decide to visit this delicious restaurant when choosing your next meal.“
“Best Guatemala themed bus food truck (the truck really is from Guate) I've ever seen. Great Garnachas, enchiladas to die for, tacos tamales and much more. First found on Crooked Hill rd while heading north. Worth the stop to bring home dinner or lunch to the family.“
“This place is super busy for a reason. The food is outstanding with fresh ingredients and ample portions. Everything we had was phenomenal. The bus boys worked diligently to clear tables. They brought chips and salsa as soon as we sat down and came back to fill out water glasses. We had a new server and she was very sweet. We had two margaritas and while they were delicious, they're not very strong or big for the $15 price tag. The only downside is the noise level. It's very loud inside with the music blasting which makes people talk loudly over it. If that bothers you, go on an off-peak time. Don't skip the restaurant, just go when it won't be as busy. Tables are kind of tight together, so I don't know how a wheelchair user would do here. I am not in a wheelchair, just commenting off my experience. PS, you can order the salsa to bring home and I suggest you do because it is literally the best salsa I've had at any restaurant.Vegetarian options: The menu has V next to itemsDietary restrictions: The menu has GF next to items that can be made gluten free, but at the bottom the menu they clearly say they are not a gluten free restaurant and can't guarantee cross contamination.Parking: The parking right by the restaurant is limited, but just walk a bit down and there are more spots in the free parking lot.Kid-friendliness: I think kids can find anything they'd like on the menu. There are burgers, tacos, quesadillas, etc picky kids may like.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is tight and I don't think a wheelchair would bode well trying to get around.“
“Food Nation Generation catered my party and they were great! Graham was so nice and easy to work with and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Everything from presentation to taste was spot on! We can’t wait to invite them back to cater our next event. Keep up the great work!!!“
