We had reservations on valentines night our first time there .. it was very clean and spacious we expected a busy night being valentines and a Saturday evening but was very disappointed that we waited over an hour just sitting in our reserved booth with glasses of water .. we ordered the all u can eat crab legs which they asked if we were having that when I made the reservation two weeks prior … we witnessed 3 other tables that got up and left in disgust that were waiting at their tables before us with no food … no bread no salads no apps not even drinks from the bar which we did order … this was a HUGE disappointment especially for some who had their Valentines Dinner ruined …. When or crab legs did come out over hour later (they were good) still had to wait forever for our sides that came with dinner … very unorganized which was so confusing to us they had empty tables and enough wait staff running around …. Our waitress Mya was very apologetic and good at her job and did try to please us by offering us a drink on her and gave us a discount on our bill …. I’m willing to give this place another shot I’m looking forward to enjoy their outside dining… I really hope it’s a better experience next time because it really does look like a great restaurant

went there for Valentine's day 2026. very disappointed prime rib was advertised got there 6 had a 6:30 reservation got seated at 6:45 not bad but one waitress up stairs with 14 tables took sometime to get her to stop but she did we ordered drinks 15 min. later they arrived was ready to order when she brought them but she left came back 20 min. later to take order now it's 8 we ordered 2 prime ribs 2 sirloin strips put in order someone else came back 15 min. later told us prime gone sirloin gone and also we don't have rib eye either. When I made res. 3 days earlier we wanted prime rib was thinking about it all day. Finally ordered Mac & cheese , wrap, salad, and chicken parm food was not bad but was not what we were counted on. Eat and left at 9:30 un happy.

The place is cute. The service was not great for our most recent visit. We felt forgotten about. Food was decent, I had the seafood riggies. They were as expected but I would pick something different next time.

Tiffany was our waitress and was very attentive. Food was great! Scallops florentine and chicken riggies in your choice of hotness. Great music while we were there - Bri and me. Food came out quickly.

We love The Reef. Staff are very friendly and attentive to customers (especially Melissa). The food is always freshly prepared and plentiful! We drive from Sterling for great atmosphere, food and service!

A few of our friends hyped this place up but it appears as though proximity of the restaurant with little else near it makes them think this overpriced establishment is quality.
The restaurant is very clean inside which is a plus. We waited at the bar for a while to be acknowledged by the bartender that seemed annoyed by our questions and being asked to make a seasonal cocktail priced around 10 dollars.
After sitting down at a table we ordered food which was mediocre at best.
Side salads were not the most fresh and we could tell they were arranged intentionally to cover up wilted lettuce and vegetables on the edge of going bad.
Pub Pretzel was the only shining star of the food portion- it's huge and you can add beer cheese for $1
My husband got the Reef Riggies which claims to have seafood in it- it was very minimal seafood for what we paid and he had to go looking for the small scallops.
The vegetables in my order were unseasoned and uninspired.
Dessert tray was brought to the table- we passed. Very clearly just frozen items they thaw out for Sysco for $8
Overrall, unless this is the only thing on your way get more for your money and try out a different local establishment.

All wait staff were pleasant and efficient. Reservations are recommended on a Friday evening unless you arrive early.

Love this hidden gem. We always get their pretzel with house-made beer cheese sauce and mustard. They have great daily specials like their wing special on Sundays. Great fish sandwich, wings, beef on weck.
