This location is the BEST location to get FRESH bagels. I always get tuna on a bagel and later tuna with cranberries and it was great. You will not be disappointed.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I cannot stay silent about what happened today 8/21/25. My sister-in-law, a highly respected doctor in her field and a longtime patron of Bagel Boss Merrick, who is also of Puerto Rican descent, had a deeply disturbing experience with one of your staff members a older gentleman.
When she went to pay for her order, she handed over exact change (15 cents so she wouldn’t get change back). The employee responded by saying, “Oh, you have exact change good, I won’t have to call ICE and have you deported.”
Shocked, my sister-in-law asked him to repeat what he said, and the employee again made the same comment, implying he would call ICE to deport her.
This type of behavior is unacceptable especially in today’s political climate. For a staff member to use such discriminatory and threatening language toward a loyal customer is outrageous. No one should ever be made to feel unsafe or unwelcome in a place of business because of their heritage or background.
This employee should be held accountable, and I strongly urge Bagel Boss Merrick’s management to take immediate action. Customers deserve respect, not intimidation.

I asked for a non toasted poppy bagel with cream cheese. And I got a toasted poppy bagel and the cream cheese is melted and it’s uneatable
The food was ok, I did not know it was kosher so I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and was served fake bacon. I am not from around here so that was a big surprise. They should inform people that it is not real meat.
