Stopped by Victor Hard Bean Café in Toronto and had an amazing experience—got the iced shaken cookie butter espresso and the Smith St. sandwich, both of which were delicious. The espresso had a sweet, unique flavor, but it wasn’t strong enough for me at first; when I mentioned it to Victor, he was incredibly kind and quickly fixed it to perfection. The service was warm, the food and drinks were top-tier, and you can really feel the care that goes into everything. Highly recommend checking this place out!

If you want to support local, this spot is one to frequent. The owners are super friendly and always take care of me and my girl. The vibe is very welcoming and peaceful—great spot to escape to and get some work done if needed. All of their pastries are freshly made everyday and their drinks are all unique and worth a try. My favorite is their spring matcha latte, but I add a hint of lavender to it. Everything here is awesome, hope this convinces someone to give these hard working people some business ‼️

Went to hard bean for the first time today. I was immediately welcomed by the owner, he was super kind and helpful with the menu. I had the cookie butter latte with oat milk and it was so good. I also had the Smith st. sandwich, the cranberry mayo sounded weird to me at first but it paired so well with everything in the sandwich. The service was so excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot to chat, study, or just grab something to drink.

I literally had nothing to do, but I knew I had to charge my phone and use the ladies room. I came across this little coffee shop near the LIRR Merrick Train Station. Omg what a peaceful environment, I mean the food is amazing “Lunch menu, The Smith st” is amazing. Everything was clean and the bathroom. Great selection of music ?. The worker was simple pretty nice. I think I found my new space.
