This used to be my go to whenever I was craving a decent bagel but the prices are ridiculous now. $6 for a bagel with cream cheese makes absolutely no sense. A spread of cream cheese cost more than the bagel? How? Time to move on.

Ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter. Got cream cheese. This may seem small and trivial but bagel chalet has gotten so bad lately with their service. The bagels are great, but there are constant mistakes. This place has 10 people maybe sitting down and a few on line, it’s not crazy busy where they can’t pay attention and listen. 7/10 times we have a problem here. Usually it takes a very long time to get our order because they put it on top of the toaster To Go meanwhile we said to stay, and it’ll be wrong or it’ll be wrapped up to go instead of given in a tray which again, doesn’t seem like a big deal but it comes down to listening. The staff aren’t listening closely to the customers and are screwing orders up. There’s no accountability. No leadership. No manager on duty. No veteran staff to guide anyone. It’s all kids and people who may not have the greatest English, hence all the mistakes. We have looked past it many times but I think they’ve lost our business.

Crumble Coffee? I Never seen it until I stop at Bagel Chalet,let me tell you, this Coffee was Great, O My God the Taste,not that bitter taste that linger in most coffee. The aroma and taste is something to try.

People here are so nice. Very clean. Catered the gourmet sandwich platter for two different occasions this month and got raves. Highly recommend. Always delicious. Prices are a bit high but that’s everywhere nowadays.

Small Bagels, Big prices, open your items before you leave to make sure it's correct. Used to come here for bacon egg and cheese, after a few bad sandwiches we took a break. Today we had 2 bagels w cream cheese that came out to $13, and when we got home they still gave me the wrong bagel.
Parking: Parking here can be stressfull, people fly through the lot and the spaces are angled and tight

Was so excited for a LI egg sandwich after living in Florida for years. Ordered an everything bagel with veggie cc and a bacon (extra crispy) egg and cheese over medium on a roll, with an iced tea. For starters, $19 for that is insane. We were given the wrong bagel. The bacon was basically raw, not a crunchy piece in sight. We had it remade however when they remade it, the egg yolks were broken and cooked hard. The cheese was cold, not melted at all, and there was only one egg. The roll was huge compared to the egg, and there was a ton of extra bread on the sides. I will not return. Cute inside but not grungy enough for a classic Long Island egg sandwich. I have been here twice in 5 years They are great!!! They individually wrap large and small bagels and toasted a perfect bagel with veggie cream cheese. Their choices for individually wrapped food like chicken and cauliflower are extremely well prepared and very good I HIGHLY recommend this place and won’t be going back to another bagel store on merrick rd In Bellmore….(ever) again

Prices are high. I don't mind paying a premium for good food and good service but they frequently get my order wrong when getting take-out.
I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a large iced coffee. The total somehow came out to over $11... I know there has been inflation but this is egregious. I don't even know how that math works when a large iced coffee is $4.10 and a cream cheese bagel is $5.29(crazy) $9.39+tx is $10.20. Not cool

The food is sooooo fresh and delicious! With the amount of variety there you just can’t go wrong. If you’ve never been this is your chance to go and experience what Bagel Chalet has to offer . You won’t be disappointed.

Went for lunch, had a bagel w/ delicious chicken salad. They give you a choice of a small size side. Many choices, everything was very fresh. Coffee was hot & strong .
