The sausage, egg and cheese was decent, definitely not worth $10. The small Potatoes also decent, but not worth $6. Add a blueberry muffin and iced latte all for $30, definitely not worth that price for a regular breakfast run. Never again...prices too high for what you get.

I am a uber driver. Bro just stop taking the new uber order if you can’t deliver everything on time. Very excessive wait time to get the order. At least 30 mins wait time. And a staff said if the order is there is there if not it’s gonna be a wait. That is so trash. No correct management

I am a night worker, and I was craving for a BEC bagel when I woke up. As we all know, the bagel places around Bellmore and Merrick close around 2-3pm, and when I saw Bagel Chalet were still opened, I decided to come here! Glad I did too! The service was great, and the BEC on a cinnamon raisin bagel was delicious! Coffee was still pretty good too. I’ll definitely be back if I ever have a craving for a late breakfast on my nights off!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location on August 22 2025. After waiting over 30 minutes for an order while watching other customers and drivers be served, I politely asked about the delay. An employee named Anna responded with eye-rolling, spoke over me, and dismissed me with a hand gesture as though I wasn’t worth her time. As she walked away, she made a mumbled remark that came across as derogatory and deeply unsettling.
This kind of behavior is unprofessional, discriminatory, and harmful to customers. It reflects very poorly on the business and made me feel unwelcome. The manager on duty (Mario) did step in and tried to take accountability, but the conduct of Anna was unacceptable and overshadowed everything else.
I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to review their hiring and training practices. No customer should be treated this way.
I went into the Bagel Chalet this morning to order breakfast and was completely turned off after placing an order. There was what appeared to be a fruit fly infestation specifically in the area with the danishes, muffins etc., which is unacceptable in a good establishment. I brought it up to one of the workers who stated that “she knows and people tell them all the time”. If they are aware of this then why is this still an issue and how long has this been going on for. I am in disbelief that they continue to sell these items to unsuspecting consumers knowing this issue. They need to dispose of the food and address the infestation. I brought this matter up to the manager before leaving, who appeared nonchalant about the issue as well. Prior to leaving the store, he appeared to be removing one of the containers of sweets and fanning the flies as though that would resolve the problem. I will never eat from this place again and this makes me weary about eating out.

I visit a friend in Merrick three times a year, and Bagel Chalet has become my favorite breakfast spot. The bagels are very good, the coffee is excellent, and they make a great breakfast sandwich (I get scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese on a soft roll). The place is very clean, with comfortable booths and lots of tables. They make breakfast sandwiches to order, and bring them to your table when they're ready. It’s Monday morning, and I'm just finishing my coffee. I'll be back tomorrow!

Do not go to this bagel shop unless you want to grossly overpay to get a mediocre sandwich, if you even get it all. My office used to order from them every week until they forgot a sandwich on two separate occasions. The food used to be good, but has declined recently along with the service. They also took advantage of the egg prices and charge over $10 for an egg sandwich after most delis came back down to $6.50. There are plenty of other options in the Merrick/Bellmore area that don’t rip you off or forget your sandwiches. Btw, they still owe me an egg sandwich from our last order😡
