Final meal before my wife and I headed to JFK. This place helped me forget about the impending doom of reality of having to go back to the UK. The staff were fantastic and had a great chat to the manager, even him talking about Man Utd didn’t spoil it for me! The steak was perfect and literally melt in the mouth. We both loved this place and would definitely go back at the next opportunity.
Service was very slow and the food was okay, nothing special. Had oysters which were very big which I don't enjoy, only had half of them. The short rib burgers were a little dry, needed a sauce. And the zucchini chips were very soggy, we sent them back and luckily manager okayed removing from the bill, but I feel like the server should've done that and not left it on me to ask after it was included on the bill. The steak was ok, it was overcooked but I purposely ordered...
Carolyn was amazingly efficient and pleasant. Gerry is a family favorite of my family! Beautiful night with great people. Great food and drinks! Can't you guys pitch a tent over the deck and stay open all year long? 🙏🙏
