“I have been searching for a new sushi spot close to home and, after many hits and misses, I finally visited Kiku Sushi Family for the first time. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the peaceful atmosphere and charming decor. The booth seating we received was perfect.

We were greeted warmly by two women as soon as we arrived, and they promptly seated us, ensuring we were comfortable. Our waitress, Sophia, was exceptional--attentive throughout our meal, making sure we were enjoying everything and checking if we needed anything else. She definitely added to our awesome experience. The service here is phenomenal!

The food was incredibly fresh, which is particularly reassuring when it comes to seafood. I tend to be fearful when trying new places that offer seafood.
The portion sizes for the meals were generous, and the sushi rolls had a fair amount of fish, not just packed with rice with the goal of filling you up.

Prices at Kiku Sushi Family are very reasonable, offering a great meal at a good price. The menu, while a bit old-school, is extensive with a wide variety of options--literally 100 different rolls and numerous appetizers, kitchen items, and more. Whether you're craving sushi, noodles, chicken, or beef, you'll find something to enjoy.

We ordered the chicken teriyaki with vegetables, the Godzilla roll appetizer, and the UFO ball appetizer. For sushi, we tried the Fashion roll, Rock 'n Roll, Hurricane, and Big Spider rolls. Everything was fantastic. I love trying new dishes each visit, and I'm excited to return and explore more of their menu items.

My only disappointment was that they don't accept American Express cards, but it wasn't a big issue--I just paid with cash.

I fully recommend trying out Kiku Sushi Family. The service and food are amazing. 11/10!“

“Great experiences here. I am a student at the nearby high school and my bus station for work is near this restaurant. I was tired of spending my entire paycheck on $15 meals, so I stopped by Osaka just to try a few rolls. The prices are great and the food is amazing. Everything is fresh and the prices are great. There's an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it's a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.“

“Ordered for the first time and food was good! I had the Yaki Udon, California Roll and Fried Rice. The Yaki Udon was a nice portion and came with a side salad. Fried rice had chicken and egg. California roll was disappointing. The Crab was nonexistent and rice as well. Roll fell apart.

“Pretty cool place that serves sushi in a fully automated setting. Food is good, a little pricey, but you get to try a lot of things that would be specialty rolls or dishes from other places without committing to a whole order. Think sample size with somewhat sample prices as opposed to a full dish of something that is pricey and you may not enjoy.

Medium sized place with a good number of tables. Almost everything is automated. One you sit down a robot will bring you water, drinks, and utensils, all the food goes around the place on a conveyor belt, and anything that you special order is done via tablet and put on a separate conveyor belt direct to your table. They have a few typical sushi rolls but most of the dishes could be considered specialty rolls. In addition to the sushi and sashimi that go around, you can also order sides or other full meals such as gyoza and ramen.

“The food is here is by far one of the more reliable places to get Asian Cuisine. The food is not overly fried or heavily seasoned. We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. Normally I have something criticizing to say but I genuinely appreciate this place for a cheat night. You won’t feel guilty with the fun of take out. The place is small and there isn’t anywhere to eat if you wanted. The customer service is good, however you will need to wait in your car because there isn’t much room to wait inside and no where to sit. Give it a try. Photo is my wife pounding down one of their egg rolls because she can’t wait till we get home (Not oily at all). As healthy as Chinese food can probably get in NYC.“

Parking: If you know anything about Rockville Centre-- it is no more than a HUGE parking lot with a plethora of establishments that are merely planted around/within it. We got luck and were able to secure a space on Park Avenue a few hundred feet from the restaurant. Be prepared to drive around the area a few times before finding a suitable spot.“

“There is a menu up at the very front of the store which I liked because I enjoy reading through the menu without being rushed to order. Then you walk up and tell the cashier what you want and you get your food within 10 minutes which is steaming hot. The portion sizes are larger than other spots I’ve tried and the food is delicious especially with the sauce they add on top. The fried rice was a bit underwhelming but the browning on the chicken more than makes up for it. Great spot if you’re looking for a quick lunch that will fill you up and warm you up.“

“Came here for lunch and it was great. Wonderful portion size and a good selection of bento box. Not served in a traditional bento box but a 4-sectioned plate. Soup and salad served separately. Price is reasonable. Attentative staffs. Will return in the future.

“Went tonight with my family of 5. We were seated with three others at our table. We ordered 3 extra noodles and 3 extra vegetables for our group of 5. When we were served, there was a very tiny portion of noodles and our extra vegetables were split among all 8 people at our table, even though we ordered for our party of 5 and were not with the others. My son ordered extra rice which he didn’t get and I had to wait for the waiter to fry me a steak because he ran out of the first batch. The food tasted good but I didn’t get what I paid for and I am disappointed.“
