Shah’s Halal Food

I ordered a sandwich and more and when I received the sandwich it was burnt and the patty was dry and extremely thin. When I brought it up they told me it was just the color of the bread and that nothing was wrong with it when obviously it was burnt. They made me the customer look wrong for food that was burnt and believed they were right. I would never like to go again😡.

Bad customer service. We ordered three platters and he gave us 3 forks. We asked for an extra forks but they refused since we apparently only got 3 platters so we couldn’t get more. Also, the workers weren’t wearing gloves when making the food. Very disappointed with service. Won’t be coming back soon.

This place has really good food!! I'm really picky too, it was so friggin good. They had a deal going where you choose your foods and they make you a platter/dish of food that I could not finish in one sitting, neither could my unc lol it was a lot of good food..did I mention it was only $7 a plate?! Usually $10, which is still totally worth it. I also tried their fries, OMG they're like Checkers Rallys fries but thicker!! So delicious and fresh!! All the food was fresh and the restaurant was immaculate. I will be going back here to eat. Hey, if you live near there...you're foolish to not eat there. I gave them 5⭐

We ordered a gyro and platter, both chicken. The portions were amazing and the food was really good. Highly recommend. Also, the guy behind the counter was very friendly and accommodating.

The man at the counter could not get over a misunderstanding with a customer, who was right in my opinion. She called in an order that was incorrect, but would not accept it and just seemed to want to argue. The customer decided to pay for another order and left the incorrect order. After the customer the left the man began pleading his case with me why he was right. I told him he needs to learn that the customer is always right and he would lose business like he lost mine by being so emotional about an incorrect order. I'll go-to the other location going forward.

The food is so delicious that we ate it before even thinking of taking a picture. The lamb platter is just sooooo good. The pita's are hot, soft and extremely tasty. This has become a favorite place!

3 times ordered delivery and they never include the sauces! EVERY SINGLE TIME. I always order 6+ platters. How can you NOT read instructions and include the sauces?!!!! They are illiterate and cannot read. Do not order from here. I will order from Selden location going forward. Island Halal was 100% better. They were family owned and always provided sauces plus extra! Shahs sucks!
