“Went to Grumpy Jack's to celebrate my granddaughter's H.S. graduation. We were a table of 22, seated upstairs. Our waitress, Joelle, was amazing. She was working the entire restaurant. The downstairs and our group upstairs. She was very pleasant, professional, and did a great job handling everything herself. The food was so good. There are so many food options on the menu, it caters to everyone's tastes. Definitely recommend going there and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to it!!“

“The Food is so so good. Always hot and fresh. I havt tried anything on the menu I didnt love. But the customer service is what makes them set the bar so high for others. Im hurt and cant walk. The grubhub guy forgot my kids food and one of the employees drove it to my house bc she felt so bad. They are the best!“

“Tried this place for the first time tonight and loved it. We went early so it wasn’t busy but staff was very attentive, which was appreciated. Went with my mom and my kids, kids chose from the kids menu and they split a Caesar salad. They were happy with their food. We had the fried spuds- delicious. I ordered the chicken Milanese and my mom got the chicken vodka pizza. Both delicious- generous portion sizes- had plenty of leftovers. They were out of the dessert we wanted but the chocolate chip cookies were surprisingly delicious. I will definitely be back for their Date night with my husband!“

Thea is incredible. We usually come in a group and she takes great care of us every time.

Dimitri is the man too. Always checks in to make sure everything is all good.

“My husband and I were there last night 1/9/26. We had a great dinner and then we rocked the night away listening to The Manno Band. Hope they get to return, because we will be there if they do. The bartender Lisa was amazing she worked a very large crowd with ease and never forgot what we ordered. Looking forward to going back again.“

“Stopped by for a couple beers after a busy day. We’re not from the area but found the bar to be reminiscent of back home. A but spends, but we had a great time joking with the staff. Didn’t get to chat with any of the locals- seemed a bit stand off ish, but were chatty people so sometimes that puts people off. The drinks were good and we were content!“

“Missing a star for few reasons, but will be back. 1) No cherry or tattoo served with drink, & the itemized bill seen for quick min till you give card. Only got bill with total on it! Can't drive back, too far, 11pm, & disabled. Was told they can't email a copy! Fuming right now.“

“This place is where it’s at!!!!!!! The employees were really awesome, and remember my drink and had another ready for me before I could ask! The food is great and perfect menu for a good snack or a munchie when out at a place like this! It hit the spot! Manjaaaaa! The patio is great to hang outside and the place was clean too! “Had a really great experience at the Applebee’s in Shirley. Joe the manager is awesome always smiling :) super friendly, always checking in, and really makes sure everything runs smoothly. Monica behind the bar was amazing too, super personable, quick with drinks, and just had such a good attitude the whole time. They both made the atmosphere so much better and you can tell they actually care about their customers. This is definitely one of those places you come back to because of the people. Will for sure be back!“

“Stopped at the Applebee's in Farmingville on May 5th, 2026 for a late lunch while in town for work. I work in the aerospace industry and as such, frequently travel the country and have ate at Applebee's on both coasts. What made the stop here memorable was the excellent service and genuine amiable nature of the server, Larisa. She was quick and responsive for all requests and a wealth of information regarding the locale and multiple other subjects. She represents what would be considered the epitome of service for that industry.“

“Food is always consistent here, food came out pretty quick, waitress was friendly. They were kinda busy so the manager was helping serve food, The manager came over to check on us, made sure we were good, which I thought was a nice touch. Will be going back again soon. Visited on 1.15.24“
