La Cocina de Rosa is a gem of a restaurant serving excellent Dominican food, though it is tucked away inside a Mobil mini mart. The food is delicious, tasty, and like eating at home with very well balanced seasoning. Specific dishes praised include the chicharron, baked chicken, oxtail, rice and meats, beans, tostones, chicken empanadas, turmeric tea, coffee, and house fresh flavored waters. They also serve breakfast. The customer service is great and prices are reasonable. While the dining area is shared with the mini mart, the food is absolutely great for a quick bite, a family meal, or to take something to go.
