This was my first time at Tao and I been wanting to come here for years. The experience was nothing short of exceptional. The place is gorgeous, ambiance was just right and the service was top notch. Everything was prompt, yet we never felt rushed or as if anyone hovered over us. The food was some of the best we've ever had. Excellent restaurant and food. Good and pleasant atmosphere. The only thing that was unpleasant was the wait for a table! We booked a table for 9pm and they seated us at 9:49pm. It was annoying.
We were disappointed this time. It's usually great but the dragon tail ribs were not as good as usual. My entree tasted different and unfortunately not for the better. My partner felt the same way about his meal as well. Maybe a new chef? I don't know but it was disappointing.
