Is Chris still the owner of this restaurant? I was in Millbrook with my friend many years ago. Walking on the street Chris over heard us speaking in our native language and he invited us for a diner. I have to say the food was amazing!
Went to the Millbrook Cafe on a Saturday evening with my wife and sister-in-law period we started off with the seared scallops and the jumbo shrimp which were both excellent. Cooked to perfection and plentiful. Then we had the salad which was also very good and fresh. My wife had the full rack of ribs, sister in law had the avalon and shrimp, and I had the Brazilian lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. The Cafe is my partner and my go to place for a couples night out. We always pair our orders to share. I have never had a bite or sip that wasn't exceptional . I believe most items are cooked in the wood fired oven, to perfection. We usually go an hour before closing and never feel rushed. We enjoy the cozy ambiance and think it is a good value. Please don't come it is our special place. JK.
