My go to place in town for breakfast and lunch. My girlfriend and I love their biscuits and French toast. Their food is always great and consistent.
From the minute you walk in, you are greeted with a bright smile and a warm welcome. Specialty coffees and teas to subdue the chill, an assortment of baked goods to take the edge off your hunger, and a host of prepared foods to go our stay. Artisanal and small batch products from the area round out the offerings. Worth a stop and a smile.
Such a cute place with a few tables indoors and a few outdoors. I ordered a large iced coffee and it was $4 (!!!!) I plan to return to try their food, which all sounded so good. The owner was warm and friendly despite a line forming behind me. She didn’t rush me and was being personable, which I value. Babette's Kitchen in Millbrook is a delightful spot for breakfast or lunch, loved by locals and visitors alike. The broccoli, leek, and cheddar frittata and Brie & arugula melt with balsamic onion jam are must-tries. Their lasagna is a life-changing experience. The breakfast burrito, beignets, and apple chaussons de pomme are also fantastic. The atmosphere is family-friendly, with high chairs available. The heirloom tomato, turkey BLT, and Brie with turkey sandwiches are heavenly, and the BBQ chicken quesadilla is a hit with the little ones. The coffee is amazing, and many enjoy bringing friends to try the delicious pastries and drinks. Made with fresh local ingredients, each dish bursts with flavor and attention to detail. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available, and the staff, along with owner Buffy, are super nice and accommodating. It's definitely worth the trip for a delicious meal.
