“This was the best first visit at any local bar I have ever had. We were skeptical as this was a small discreet location. The staff and clientele were absolutely wonderful. It was almost comical that they have a sign on the outside about coming there as strangers and leaving as friends but that is exactly the way we felt. Not only did everyone in there seem like they knew each other they quickly scooped us up and included us in everything that was going on. They don't have food but a very nice arrangement with the local businesses so you can have anything you want quickly delivered. They even have private menus just for their establishment. We will 100% be back.“

“We have a tradition of coming here for st pattys day because my hubby does not eat red meat. He always getfs his turkey burger and is happy. I was estatic to see fried pickles on the menu. I got the pickles, seafood bisque, caesar salad and a corned beef sandwich. EVERYTHING was fresh, came out hot and was delicious. It can get loud but it was st pattys day after all. Try it, you will go back.UPDATE 3/17/2020 had to get our feast to go. My corned beef dinner was the best EVER. Hubby's Turkey burger was perfect. Miss our fireside table today.UPDATD coming here is also our New Year's Eve tradition. We do a late lunch, early dinner. Dinner choices are plenty and delicious. You can't go wrong no matter what you order. Love the staff.UPDATE AGAIN. March 17,2021. Had to get our dinners for pick up again. Grumpys chicken and my corned beef and cabbage dinner. Oh yeah and a pretzel. Each year is better than the last. Thank you Grumpy Jack's.UPDATE New Years Eve 2024. Has to get take out since mynhusband had a cold. He gets Grumpy's chicken with mashed potatoes and string beans. I got onion soup, a shrimp cocktail, sm Greek salad and fish n chips (hey it's a last meal after all!) Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food came out SUPER HOT and PERFECT. We don't go anywhere else for our special occasions. THANK YOU GRUMPY JACK'SUPDATE. ST. PATTY'S 2024 husband got his chicken and I got a small Greek salad and the corned beef platter and a non alcoholic bloody Mary. Staff is always pleasant and keep in touch with you. Food came out hot and plentiful. Oh yes perfectly cooked and delicious. We come here for major holidays and person events. Don't intend to change as they are all the BEST.“

“This place was well staffed. I went on the night before Thanksgiving and it was packed like most bars are that night. However, unlike most places this place didn't leave anyone unattended. The women behind the bar worked quickly to serve everyone.The food was very good! Much better quality than most bars.The only downside of this place is the filthy women's bathroom with a broken door. It could use some cleaning and fixing up.All in all, a great place with a welcoming atmosphere and a great staff!“

“Went here for the 1st time to celebrate a friend's birthday last friday night. There were 20 of us, so we didn't call ahead of time or anything, so we were scattered into small groups. What was GREAT is that people there who were sitting at tables actually got up and made room for us to all to sit down or even take the space by the back wal area near the bar.Food EXCELLENT, service EXCELLENT, Atmosphere, AMAZING. “Good down to earth place. Kinda small. Dart board is in front of the door. Needs moved. Drinks are small for the price. And locals have that place locked down for themselves. Not worth the visit. But I'd there's nothing else. Go. Closes at 2 not 4am.“
