“Bells Country Coffee is a nice little coffee shop. Their cry against big Coffee chains like Starbucks is displayed openly. While Starbucks has a variety of benefits so do little coffee shops like Bell’s. As a former barista I love the atmosphere of shops like Bell’s though I think there is still some growth that could happen. Personal conversations between customers and baristas are plentiful. I understand the need for creating relationships but it should be balanced with boundaries. Knowing the baristas weekend party tendencies is a little above developing relationships in my opinion. I did feel that the Cappuccino was over extracted and as hot as the surface of the sun. The wait on the cappuccino was about 7 minutes and the wait on the breakfast sandwich was about 15 minutes. The Sandwich was good. The Music was good. The Dishware was simple. There was Limited seating. Overall though it was a nice little coffee shop. I would definitely recommend stopping in and getting a cup of coffee and a nice little treat. Support local businesses.”

This place is where all of us locals come for pizza and knots-either here or in the branch rest. in Watkins Glen.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheel chair could enter but the rest. is very small. It would be hard to maneuver for turning around from the service counter. A wheel chair would not fit very well for an inside sit down meal. In 2023 they added outside street-side tables which might work- but you still have to order inside.”

“Visited this restaurant on a whim based on reviews last night after hiking Watkins Glen State Park. IT WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! My husband had the duck and I had the trout. We split the mussels and green salad. The wine the beer everything was fantastic and the staff is very attentive. Definitely going back again!!!!”

I specifically order from Dani and Coleman even though I live in Florida as I cannot find macarons anywhere near as delicious or a place that treats their customers as well. They are a true small business and family run business who care about every single person that enters their shops or buys from them from afar. It cannot get better than that. You will not be disappointed by any of their products!”

“Food was good, albeit expensive. Since everything is alacarte, the prices seem to add up to more. The fries, being from fresh cut potatoes are really good and it's a generous portion. Price is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.”

“Sandwich and soup were pretty decent. Certainly, it has an old-school feel to it. It appears a little cold though. The indoor lighting had several burned out fluorescent lights that gave me a murky feeling. I also wasn't expecting all the drink choices to come in a can or bottle.”
