“Came in to order a to-go order. Probably the best BBQ I have had in New York state. I highly recommend the Brunt ends.My go to order here is the Pulled Pork Platter. I normally get Mac and Cheese as my side and of course an extra side of corn bread. But I've tried a few different dishes and they are all good.The only downside is that the dining area is quite small. Just a handful of tables by the front counter. So it can be a little cramped in here on a busy day.Prices are reasonable for BBQ and their catering prices aren't terrible either.”

“The food and drinks here are delicious! The setup inside is a little weird and can be confusing on which way to go when they're busy. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They do have seating inside at a counter, but it can get very cramped. They also have outdoor seating at picnic tables. If busy, parking can be hard to find.Parking: Can be hard to find a spot when it's busy.”

“Looks so unassuming, but they make great food. Opened in 1986, the building looks it, but don't let that fool you. The ingredients are fresh, and I don't know where the rolls come from, but they are excellent.”

“What an awesome spot! Ambiance was airy, comfortable and inviting. We were treated with amazing Sicilian crust pizza with locally sourced pepperoni and leeks fresh out of the greenhouse. The beer was delicious, Porter Hill was especially tasty. Please come check this spot out!”

“I drove 30 minutes to get here at 2:30 on a Saturday to find out it was closed. I wished something was posted on your website about the possibility of this happening. I previously gave a review that wasn’t nice or fair and I apologize for that. The owner took the time to reach out to me with an explanation and apologize for being closed. Come to find out there’s a big demand for her delicious sweets and she sold out early.???? After talking to local people, I’m being told she makes the “Best” Macarons around. The next time I’m in town I will most definitely make a effort to get there early enough to try her yummy Macaroons.”

“The slightly spicy salsa & tortilla chips were homemade with lots of fresh cilantro. Delicious. The Chiles rellenos were outstanding. I ordered the Azteca salad with grilled chicken, shrimp, avocado and mushrooms. Also excellent. Finished things off with the flan in caramel sauce with whipped cream and cherry. Wow.I've had some amazing authentic Mexican food over the years, and Salsa's Mexican Restaurant is right up there with them. Highly recommend! ??”

“My boyfriend and I stopped here driving through on a weekend trip. The service, food, and atmosphere were great. I had the blue cheeseburger, and he had the steakhouse burger. Both were terrific. Big burgers!! The onion rings were my favorite. Oh, and the homemade ranch dressing was fantastic. Highly recommend! ?”

“I am originally from the Southern Tier but left thirty years ago. While home for the holidays I asked who was serving up the best wings these days, Elbow Room or Bernie Murrays, I was surprised to hear both places have fallen and are hit or miss at best. A friend said, its a drive but try the Town Tavern so my wife and I went and found the pub, the atmosphere was ok, lots of people having fun. There was a GREAT BAND playing called Major Big Time and they really rocked the house and had people dancing and drinking up.We came for the wings and ordered, I got dozen with the house sauce and my wife was tempted by the Bacon Double Burger. After a short wait the food arrived and oh... my.... gawd..... the wings were absolutely HUGE and meaty (the Cincinnati area could learn a lesson or two here) and cooked to crispy perfection, the house sauce was amazingly good, not too sweet, not too hot but they found the spot right in the middle and it was absolutely delicious. My wife loved the double bacon burger, saying the patties were perfectly cooked and the bacon was exceptional.I highly recommend the Town Tavern, it is absolutely delicious food served with a smile. On my next trip to visit family, I know where I am going for a plate of wings.”

“Several locals said the Chinese food was good. They Lied, the Chinese is MID at best. I’m sure some of the other food is decent, but the chicken in the soup and salad tasted like a tasteless gummy worm. Aye and that red berry dressing is trash dawg.”

“I've passed this little coffee shop a few times on my way to Watkins Glen, and decided to stop in recently. Glad I did! The owner was excited to welcome us in. The space is somewhat a work in progress but cozy and has interesting works of art in all directions. The owner brewed us delicious espresso made by a local FLX roaster. He mentioned it's a BYOB place, so I am looking forward to another visit sometime to share wine and talk art.”

“I was so pleased with the service I received! I called on a late Thursday afternoon asking to have an office of 12 people catered for the next day at 11:30am and they didn't hesitate to say yes! When I picked up the food they helped me put it in my car and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend using Garcia's for your catering needs!”

“I am not sure there's a better beer store out there. They keep up on the most recent pours locally and out of state. If you are looking for any craft beer to domestic this is your one stop shop. You won't find a better selection of any type of beer!!! If you haven't stopped in yet....you're missing out!!”

But they have good customer service and the custard is always tasty. Hopefully soon I will be able to get the flavors we like.Parking: Approximately 15 or so spots to park. “I stopped in Sept. 13, 2023 to get my granddaughter treats for her and her family. My granddaughter can only have Gluten free desserts. I asked for gluten free and the sweet lady working said I have some cupcakes but not frosted. I asked if she could frost one and she came back with a beautiful cupcake. I also bought other treats for her family. My granddaughter said ( BEST CUPCAKE EVER! ) also her husband had a chocolate chip cookie and was saying same thing as my Granddaughter. PLEASE STOP BY AND GET A TREAT ! YOU WON’t be Disappointed! Shop LOCAL SMALL SHOPS! Thank you for making my surprise a great one.”

“A great Home town bar. Recently expanded, they offer up a lot of good local Bands.It's located in Hanover Square in Horseheads NY. They close off the square for their annual Holly Days festival. Great to see old friends and family.Great band, "Still Kicken", had us all Rocking til midnight.”

“Long time listener first time visit. Overly impressed with everything. The waitress Rachel was very pleasant, cordial and polite eager to serve with great camaraderie and with a gracious smile. I Had calamari, I rate it as in the top 10 best I've ever had, then the Pizza de Carne was wonderful, made the traditional Italian way like I had in Naples Italy, all from scratch; thin, crispy and chewy with alot of flavor. Loved the Italian Aviance inside, comfortable and warm. You pay more but well worth it. Definitely will be back more often.”
