“This place is a must visit. Super unique greenhouse with a fun atmosphere. Locally sourced high quality ingredients and authentic pizza. The basil carrots are divine. Sad we're not local so we can come back and try more of the menu. This will be a place we talk about for years to come!”
“Went to ETA PIE for the first time on 2/22 to celebrate a friends birthday and man was I impressed. The staff was WONDERFUL, the prices were GREAT and pizza was AMAZING!”
“Good wines, friendly & knowledgable staff, (sanitary pours too). I was here for a wine trail event, but would revisit. (My group prefers sweet: I purchased the Sweet Abby's Red, I believe the other purchases were Bellissimo & Pasa Tiempo.)”
“Came here for the first time with my daughter and her boyfriend. Food was amazing, lattes were delicious and our pastries were so good! The service was so above and beyond! We will definitely come again! Everything was perfect.Parking: Parking lot next to Cafe.”
“Performed music at a "free to the public" concert there. Had a wonderful group of people there in the crowd as always. Great food was available and of course some of the best ice cream in generous proportions. You should definitely check it out.”
“Everything is amazing. Seriously. I have been coming herenfor many years, sunce they first opened their doors. They have consistently delivered excellent service, excellent food, and excellent drinks. I make it a point to visit a while every time I come to Ithaca. I do encourage people to be patient when it gets busy here: they usually have a small staff on duty and if you come during a rush, you will just have to wait. Remember, this isn’t some big corporation! It’s owned and operated by members of the community, for members of the community. Try them out and enjoy your visit, you will NOT regret it!”
“Bowl is a healthy meal option but it didn’t hit the mark in terms of taste for me. Fresh fish smell in the meal is not great for me, but if you like that and sea weed, you might love it. I don’t remember the name but a crunchy toppings was great.”
“BEST PIZZA in Ithaca area. Great service. "Franco's Favorite" pizza by the slice or pie is unique and the best. New location is amaizing, open and enjoyable. Super friendly and warm place to share with friends and family.”
“Gorgers has become a must-do for lunch whenever I visit Ithaca. Great range of creative subs, and I really appreciate that almost everything can be made vegetarian or vegan, using eggplant or their homemade seitan (I've enjoyed the seitan on multiple occasions). Great looking sides, etc., but a small sized sub is more than enough food for me. Can't wait to get back!”
“You can't go wrong if you choose to eat here. George is the best bar manager in town, the burger is one of the best in NY State, and the beer on tap is tremendous.”
“5 stars are not enough for this absolutely extraordinary 100/100 experiencethat my fiancé and I had. The owner Stefano was such a blessing and he is the definition of what an amazing restaurant owner should be. He was so kind, crazy outgoing and overall very pleasant to talk to and be around. And the pizza omg, so ABSOLUTELY delicious!!!!! I’m from New Jersey and since moving up here, I had yet to find a pizza joint that compared to any of the others back home but LET ME TELL YOU, this place knocks those ones out of the park! The undercarriage is perfectly crispy, cheese is melty and the sauce is seasoned great too! We got a Chicago style, a honey barbecue, white broccoli, and a margarita. They were all the best versions of those pizzas I have ever had ESPECIALLY the barbecue and the Chicago! We only added one photo and that’s of the cannolis because we couldn’t wait to eat the pizza and garlic knots so much so that we forgot to take pictures! All in all, great place, great owner, amazing food, definitely our new spot!”
“Yes yes YES. The best hand pie I've ever had - the crust is crisp and flaky and flavorful - no soggy bottoms here. The filling is warm, soft and so tasty - a perfect foil to the crust. I got the Japanese beef curry and their famous mashed potato. At first bite I liked the curry better but then the potatoes came vying for the top. Doesn't matter which flavor won, I'm the ultimate winner!A few notes - the online ordering is disorienting. There are so many items out of stock because I think they do small batch bakes daily. When I went they had like 4/5 flavors and nothing sweet which is a little disappointing but it looks like a pretty small operation. And like other reviewers have said, they are small but two was a pretty hearty meal for me.”
“I’m reviewing this place now because I realize how much I miss it once it’s closed. Some Fridays just call for their fried chicken, fried tofu and great fries. One of the best!”
“This place is the bomb! It is a beautifully restored inn well located right near Ithaca Commons. The decor is so cool and hip but also with very practical touches. They really think of everything. The beds are so comfy and the shower great and we were with my teenage daughter who had a rollaway in a little nook with a curtain so she even had some privacy. The coffee availability in the morning is top notch -self serve amazing drinks and the bar gets such a great crowd at night. Literally THE ONLY NEGATIVE is that they don't serve breakfast. But it is located very close to breakfast options. I would never stay anywhere else in Ithaca.”
“I go to this place all the time. The waiter (named Moe) here is so friendly and kind. He is so good at what does. I recommend this place to someone who like Asian mixed food. My favorite here is Spicy Bacon Pasta with 10 chilies because I love spicy spicy ❤️ please go check it out!”
“Enjoyed dinner with my Daughter Valentine's night and the food was great! I have two down sides to the dinner..1) the pop overs although gluten free - awesome- where gummy. And 2 the half tomato with panko on top.. why? The tomato could be fried with a cheese on top and then the hash brown casserole on top, at-least that would have made a bit of sense, or offer a small salad or a bigger portion of asparagus— yum! Other than those It was a very enjoyable evening. Wait staff was friendly, efficient and the drinks done well. We will visit again and bring more ppl with us :)”
“Incredible food and atmosphere. The french fries were heavenlyand the duck was very tasty. The place doesn't seat too many people and wait times can get very long, so consider coming a few minutes before they open to guarantee a spot.”
“Came from Raas profit share!!! Loved the food! Speedy service and such a cute restaurant!! Food was so good and portions were definitely big- I have enough leftovers for my lunch tomorrow!”
“I got the mango sorbet kiddie sized with rainbow sprinkles and it was much bigger than I pictured it! It tasted really good! The staff were really nice and the atmosphere was very peaceful!”
“Excellent fries. Worth the parking hassle and wandering around in the cold to find them. The malawach was good. The zatar chicken malawach was excellent. The falafel malawach was good, but not our favorite. A bit unclear for people visiting how things work and where or if you can get more iced tea. Wish they had a bit clearer what they expect, but everyone was friendly and helpful so not a big deal. The fries are an absolute must.”
“Love this little Ice-cream stand! It's rite in the main road. Definitely will be going back! They have soft icecream and hard. Very reasonable prices for sure.”
“Via's cookies offer the homemade experience you crave, while supporting struggling college students. I'm a particular fan of the vegan, gluten-free varieties and love that we can order these for a group and know there will be something for everyone.”
“Been working in Ithaca for 5 years, tried em all. Today I tried this place for the first time & it takes the throne as best quality best portion. Keep being amazing!”
“I've heard about the Lincoln Street Diner from past family members and people from Ithaca. This was my first and not last time dining. The atmosphere is very light, warm and welcoming. It was nice to walk in the door and feel like I stepped back in time. Everyone worked together like a well oiled machine. They wanted you to be there and were ready to serve you. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the counter. Part of the ambiance was listening to the conversations of others. I orderd coffee, and a Philly cheese omelet with homefries and toast. I was delighted to find they offered sourdough bread. The coffee was very good and my food was delicious, made with love and care. The people serving were very kind and attentive. They knew incoming people's orders before they walked in. I left feeling very satisfied and comfortablely full.”
“Good energy, good food, good people. The SOUP makes you so happy. The atmosphere is wholesome. I never leave reviews, but I had to because this restaurant is so special.”
“The ice cream is pretty good here! Got the Trick or Treat (vanilla and marshmallow base with candy inside). As someone who appreciates contrasting textures, I loved the soft, icy sweetness of the vanilla ice cream with the crunch of the MnM and sprinkles. Delicious! It's a little pricey, but a one-scoop is more than enough with a waffle cone for about $8. They don't really skimp on the ice cream, and offer samples. They're all-in for Halloween, with lots of decorations around the store, a pumpkin decorating crafting station, Halloween candy bags, and 30% for coming in with a costume. Would definitely recommend!”
“Andy is amazing. Just served our family of 22 people plus and his other lunch customers. He didn’t get anything wrong. He was polite the entire time and the food was excellent. Thank you Andy.”
“Just had an absolutely fantastic meal here! The oysters were so fresh and some of the best I’ve had. I got a special Cajun ruby red trout dish that was cooked to perfection with an amazing meld of flavors. My partner got the tried and true shrimp po boy and grits which was also delicious. Service was fantastic and atmosphere always great. Looking forward to going back.. kudos to the chef!!”
“Really cool spot. Visiting from Nyack, Ny and it's my first time learning about Kava and having the full experience. I don't know how I haven't heard about this before! I felt super relaxed and I loved how people could just come together, and share the moment. Had great conversation, and no judging eyes. Do not leave Ithaca without coming here at least once!”
“Quiet little place, free pool on certain days! A great little sports bar and plenty of tv's to watch the games and eat some good food!Wheelchair accessibility: There is back ramp access for handicap”
