“We stopped there yesterday and boy I’m glad we did!! We had been there years ago before the new tasting room was added and couldn’t remember the name. I thought the house looked familiar so we gave it a try!! It was the same place with the same little dog, Molly, that we remembered!! Of course we did a tasting and they did not disappoint! Stacy was a great host and was very fun to do a tasting with!! She helped us pick out our wines and let us know of a great sale on a case of wine!!!! We will definitely be back to stock up on their wines. We loved all of the sweet wines!”
“Oh my god this place ROCKS!!!!!! We got the curry puffs and ooooh my god I want a million more!!!!! Thai iced coffee? Bomb. Green sauce w mock duck? Bomb. Pad Thai? Bomb. Probably everything else? Bomb. Will definitely be traveling from Syracuse to eat here more. 10/10 I will recommend this place to literally anyone with ears who will listen to me.”
“We are always impressed. We confidently invite our friends; business colleagues for meetings…. Wine is local and fresh, local beer choices excellent. Impressive stills. The plates are fresh crafted and awesome in appearance, flavors, temperature, just pretty darn completely happy. Oh and the people… everyone, Andrew & team, on game and just the best.Kid-friendliness: Relaxed environment for children to enjoy.”
“Food was AMAZING. Me and my girl were visiting from long Island and wanted to try this spot. Went there on a Sunday around 9am and I tried the sugar waffle eggs bacon and cheese. It was delicious. Didn't need any hot sauce it was that good. She got the crosiants eggs and cheese and she loved hers as well. The back was a little cold but other then that, the people were really friendly and they even gave us a free cinnamon roll. Will definitely come back when I'm back in the area.”
“Holy cannoli if you are ever in this area, you have to stop here. This will be a stopping destination from now on. The cannolis are the best in New York. The staff is super friendly and it seems to be a popular stop for locals. Seriously if you don't stop by and buy a cannoli there is something seriously wrong with you. You will be missing out on something amazing.”
“The guy working was very nice and helpful. Everything is reasonably priced, considering that it’s a locally owned small business. my latte was amazing. I bought bread too, which was also to die for.”
“I would highly recommend this business!!! I can’t even begin to explain the amount of good things to say about this place. With so many options on the board the staff helped me figure out what would be a good fit for my desired taste. On top of being helpful with my order they also were very friendly and kind and took the time to ask how i was doing not only as a customer but also in a personal way. Food and coffee were also exceptional. If you have the chance to visit i would highly recommend doing so!! Thank you again to the business owner for representing local businesses very well!!”
“Yum. Yum... but rather ADAMANTLY NOT vegan ?? but I get it, the other one is vegan so people probably expect that ??Vegetarian options: Most things can come as veg minus the soups that are fish baseDietary restrictions: They have gluten free options here tooParking: Good luck ??Wheelchair accessibility: They couldn't get in the front I don't think but the back is flat”
“Couldn’t be more happier about our stay. My partner and our dog stayed in the Lake View Cabin and were absolutely blown away. The view is incredible, we could see a waterfall across the lake! The cabin was very spacious and clean, also equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. We were so happy to have found a dog friendly place, and the owners dog Rocky (I think that’s the name) was very sweet whenever we had the chance to see him around the property. The check-in process was easy and the lady who helped us check-in was very friendly. We can’t WAIT to come back, thank you for making our trip so special.”
“I decided to check out North New York based on their good google reviews. The scone and cold brew were delicious. Service was excellent. It is a nice, local coffee shop.”
“Great place to stay. Rooms were amazing. View from the room was unbeatable! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Beer and food were very good also! We will be back!”
“Little restaurant on the Seneca wine trail. Great food, good portions and our server was very attentive. Breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks were tasty. It was prime rib night and wow! It was huge! Cooked to medium rare as ordered and was very good. The au jus that came with it added the perfect amount of saltiness. My husband loved his chicken parm - 1/2 inch thick breaded chicken breast with yummy melted mozzarella on top served over spaghetti. He was full about 3/4 through his meal but liked it so much he finished it! Meals came with a salad and a side. We'd definitely visit again! Of note is that they don't take reservations.”
“Awesome little Brewery in the finger lakes region. Best French fries In THE WORLD!! Amazing bartender. We enjoyed bingo and the fantastic Upstate IPA! Made suggestion for hook in bathroom for coat/pocketbook !!”
“I love it when places go through the effort of making their own brownies, it sets them apart and this place's brownies are really good. Combined with the great ice cream and toppings, I'd say this place is the best in an area where there's lots of competition!”
“Solera is our old reliable for the area. The beer is always cold and there’s a big rotating selection of drafts. If you particularly enjoy a specific draft, you can buy a 28(?) oz growler to take it home. The cocktails are great as well. The food was surprisingly good too for a bar! The boneless chicken wings (nuggets) were great. The best thing to try on your visit is definitely the dill pickle bacon grilled cheese washed down with a nice cold beer. The bartenders are always friendly and nice.”
“My husband and I both a a turkey melt and soup. I had the sweet potato and ham soup and he had the chicken tortellini. They were excellent. You could tell the soup was homemade. The place is clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. Great place for families.”
“Love this little Ice-cream stand! It's rite in the main road. Definitely will be going back! They have soft icecream and hard. Very reasonable prices for sure.”
“Sandwich and soup were pretty decent. Certainly, it has an old-school feel to it. It appears a little cold though. The indoor lighting had several burned out fluorescent lights that gave me a murky feeling. I also wasn't expecting all the drink choices to come in a can or bottle.”
“Got three dozen wingsPlainMango habaneroAnd sweet and sourI was missing a plain wing but aside from that they were goodShe gave me some of the house made blue cheese. I don't like blue cheese normally but it was really good too. Out of the flavors I got, sweet n sour def was the best”
“Love this place great food and decent prices for the quantity of what your gettingVegetarian options: They have lots of veggie itemsDietary restrictions: Healthy optionsParking: Not alot of parking availableKid-friendliness: Good atmosphere for kidsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs easy to get inside”
“My wife and I stopped here while we were touring wineries and breweries. I tried some of their IPAs and their Oktoberfest, and she got the seasonal pumpkin ale. We went back two nights later and had more. The beer was very good, and they had a great variety. The service was great, and the venue was really cool with both an indoor and outdoor area. They have an amazing view of Seneca Lake too, and we got to see an awesome sunset. We did not try their food, but they do have a pretty good menu. They've got some pretty cool merch for sale too.”
“We always like to find little local places when we are out of town. This place did not disappoint. I had the buffalo chicken calzone and it was amazing. My wife had the stuffed shells and she said it was great.”
“If you blink you will miss it!!! Cutest little diner located on the side of another building on the main road in Watkins Glen that serves mostly hot dogs and burgers. Very friendly older gentleman will greet you with a smile. Check it out when in town!!”
“Highlights: service, wine, local ingredientsLowlights: taste and cookMy partner and I have been trying to go to Graft for a long time. We drove 45 minutes two separate times, after checking their website and Instagram just to find out they were closed on days they were listed as open.We gave up for about a year, and finally was able to make it in last night. The restaurant is small with only three tables and bar space. It is cozy and cute. They have an upstairs but we did not see it.We love that all their ingredients are farm-to-table and my partner who had been several years prior was excited to take me. The first thing he mentioned when we walked in is that the menu seemed to be "whitewashed" which we found to be disappointing. In his past experience, he loved that the chef's Dominican culture was really represented in the food. Now, you would not be able to recognize it from any other American menu.We ordered a wine and started continued to enjoy the company we were with. The waitress was funny and attentive, with a perfect amount of awareness of when we needed her, but not consistently interrupting conversation.Unfortunately when we got our food we were a bit disappointed. The scallop appetizer was tasty but over cooked. We also got oysters, which were okay but I think could be more fresh. While not near the ocean, I have had oysters in this area that I enjoy much more. The bread was amazing and is from my favorite bakery in the region, Wide Awake. For food, we ordered the Arctic Char, Tuna special and the dry aged steak. The arctic char was dry, the tuna dish was very one note and SUPER salty, but the worst thing was the steak. It was ordered medium rare and was WAY over cooked. It was very dry and hard to chew through. All the seasonings on everything seemed to lack depth.Lastly, we ordered all of the desserts and none of them were that good. Rice pudding was not the right consistency and very sweet, the cheesecake was sour and the other chocolate tasty was just okay.Overall we had a great time, but were pretty let down by the food, especially for the cost.”
“Have eaten here several times now. Good food, decent prices, and nice servers. Plenty of on street parking and a big parking lot to the right of the building.Parking: Big parking lot and also lots of parking on both sides of the road”
“My husband and I visited Hop Notch for the first time and were very pleased with the mimosa seltzer and ale they brewed. Jeff was a great guy to talk with and so willing to share his knowledge on business and brewing.”
“We showed up at about 9:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. The place was packed. We took the last table in the house. We were served delicious, fresh coffee immediately. The wait staff took our orders in no time. Our breakfast was ready within ten minutes. Food was properly prepared. People were friendly and the price is right. (The only reason for four stars instead of five is they did not serve my favorite style eggs, which are poached, but otherwise, a great find!)”
“Remarkably good food. Solid pasta and salad options. The grand prix salad is weird but somehow it works. Possibly the best canoli I've ever had. Friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”
“By far the best tasting ice cream in the area. Portions are enormous. Staff and owner are incredibly friendly. When visiting the area, this is the ice cream you NEED to try.”
“Nice little bar/restaurant! Good food, good service. Hours are a little weird in my opinion, but we've learned to work around it, if we want to get food there.”
