Cala Luna is by far the best restaurant in Mineola. Their lack of advertising and marketing keeps their business down. I recommend highly to anyone to try this place, they will not be disappointed.
We had a last minute reservation for 8 people, and we were lucky enough to snag a table. YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE! Our entire table loved the food. From the appetizers (the warm bread, the amazing carmalized onion spread, & the Calamari), to the main courses (the NY strip steak, the shrimp, and the ravioli), to the dessert (trust me... get the bread pudding!) everything was impeccable. The service staff was also amazing, very attentive and kind. I will definitely be back!
Inventive menu . Every dish we ordered was well executed . The best tuna tartare ( a special that night ) I’ve ever had ! Carefully curated wine list, including an outstanding Finger Lakes Riesling .
And a friendly, efficient staff. Home Run!
