What a vibe. Great food and wine menu. Steven is the best. Hugo, yahia and guleitte and dezz are very polite and nice people there. A very happy customer I am.
In all my years, 30, in the Hamptons this is my favorite restaurant hands down. It is a quintessential summer spot that truly makes summer memorable. Weather you pull up in a car or a boat, it is always fanrltastic
The view was one of the best we’ve experienced, but the food was terrible despite the price.
I went to Montauk for my birthday weekend with people who grew up going there for 20 years and Dureya’s was hyped up to me for months and it absolutely over delivered and captured the essence of the entire weekend (we went July 2024). It’s a market and restaurant on the water with a super casual vibe that draws a great crowd. We started with the sunset seafood tower while we waited for a table and then we ordered the heirloom tomato salad, the tuna tartare, the fresh corn, and the belle of the ball- the Lobster Cobb. The ingredients were all so fresh and flavorful and even though we ordered a good amount of food, it was also light and clean. I still dream about the tomatoes, corn, and the salad. That birthday lunch was a core summer memory for me that I can’t wait to recreate.
This is a staple in our rotation. The seafood is incredible! Most dishes are intended for sharing so the portions are large. Don't skip the lobster salad and the clam bake (and order bread to finish off the sauce!).
The service is professional and accommodating and management always swings by to ask how it's going.
Please ignore the reviews knocking this place because they have to actively take part in the ordering process (laziness breeds resentment!), you fill out a menu (similar to Dim Sum) and take it to the counter to pay. It's great because after you've finished eating, you can leave so there's no need to play tag with the wait staff to pay your bill. I find the process efficient and that adds to my love of the place.
The prices are reflective of the quality and the location and are 100% worth it.
Come if you love seafood and bring your appetite. You will not be disappointed!

The views are great. The family style/ shared plate portions are huge and make for a fun meal experience. The Lobster Cobb Salad is fantastic and not to be missed.

We arrived at sunset. It truly was an amazing view with the light reflecting off of the water. The dock over the bay made for a perfect atmosphere.
Duryea's gimmick is giving you a "ballot style" menu that you mark the items you want and then take them to the counter to pay before being served. There wasn't much actual table service. Don't get me wrong, our interactions with the staff were friendly, but they didn't come back after we paid except to deliver the food. The staff seemed pretty disorganized.
Now for the food. We had oysters to start. They weren't bad, not much else to say about them. We ordered a lobster roll and a hamburger. These came with a hearty portion of sweet potato chips and fries, respectively. The fries were the highlight of the meal. Thin cut with the right amount of seasoning. The chips were chips.
For the mains, the lobster roll was solid, but the burger was below average. I'm fully aware that we ordered a burger at a seafood restaurant and took that into consideration in this review. It still doesn't make up for its complete lack of seasoning. Not even salt or pepper. It just wasn't good.
I get it. It's the Hamptons. You pay for the exclusivity of it all. But I want my meal to be stellar when I pay that much. This missed the mark overall.
But is it worth a visit? That depends on how much you're willing to pay for a good view. I'd say come for an appetizer and drinks while the sun is setting, then look for your mains elsewhere.
Parking: On the grass along the road.

Awful service and terrible interaction. Website and restaurant opens at 11am on Sunday but with no notice on Sunday of Labor Day Weekend the staff decided to open at Noon, no real reason (blamed rain but the inside, bar, etc were all closed as well.) The staff was rude, unhelpful, and mocking. Horrible experience, would never go back.
