Always, always good food here

I was visiting my sister and her family in MTK and my BIL grabbed us pizza for dinner from Sausages. He raved about their pizza so I had high expectations which were met the moment I tried the Buffalo Chicken pizza. Three words: SESAME SEED CRUST. It was fire. The flavors and textures were incredible. A truly memorable pizza in a world that is inundated by bland, loveless pies. 🍕

I ordered 2 meals to take out but when I received the food I was charged a higher price than was indicated on their menu and their website. When I showed the manager the price on the menu he said those are the old prices. I said you can’t change the price after the food was ordered and he should adjust my bill to reflect the lower menu price. He refused so I left without the food and without paying. Beware of the prices you see on their menu and their website because you will pay more.

This place might be the only place I eat when I come to Montauk! Food is phenomenal. Staff is even batter. Extremely affordable, and the quality and quantity is the best in town!! Love this place!

While staying in the area, I’m so glad I found this spot! Not only were they very welcoming and attentive but they were so so kind! Not only did they hit the mark with customer service , the food?? It was spectacular. I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to try everything else !

Sausages Pizza & Pastabilities is one of those rare neighborhood spots that truly gets everything right. The pizza is excellent, the menu is comforting and creative, but the knots are on another level — easily the best around. Perfectly baked, loaded with flavor, and impossible to stop eating.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the owner. He’s a genuine beacon of the community — present, hardworking, and deeply invested in the people around him. You can feel the pride and care that go into the food and the space. He’s a great role model and exactly the kind of person you want running a local business.

This is more than just a great pizza spot — it’s a cornerstone of the neighborhood. Places like this are why local restaurants matter.

“The Billy Pizza” is so tasty. The thin crust with a little sprinkle of sesame seeds on it… honestly, sooo good. And the fresh toppings—sautéed onions, spinach, bacon, and goat cheese—work perfectly together. I couldn’t help it, we dug right in, having only a couple of slices left for the photo! 😋😳

The fact that they welcome educational opportunities, bringing in school groups to learn about their skills in the kitchen, is just awesome! ❤️

This is my second time getting it during my yearly off-season trip to Montauk, and it’s just as delicious as I remembered. My husband and I love it, and it’s definitely become our little Montauk tradition.

They were staring at us from outside before I even walked in, and you’re seriously telling me that your employee and the customer were just talking about where they buy a fish? What an absolutely pathetic excuse. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

This evening, I walked into a restaurant to order dinner, and the very first thing I heard was a staff member and a customer saying, “They’re Chinese.”

That is blatant racism. The fact that they made such an ignorant assumption — not only because I am not Chinese, but because they reduced an entire group of people to a stereotype — is absolutely disgraceful. It’s appalling to witness such ignorance and prejudice in this day and age.
