Kitschy experience but would not do it again. Igloos were in poor condition (many lacked functioning zippers or lights) and the plastic was partially see-through so you could barely see the ocean. Several of the igloos didn't even have visibility to the water. The menu was pretty limited - the food we had was very good but the selection was more bar food/finger food than a full meal. The $50 “mandatory donation” was also very very strange..

Beautiful setting but heaters were not cutting it. It was a very cold evening so was understandable. The food was nothing special but the staff was excellent and overall we had a wonderful experience.

Last night, my companions and I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Gurney's, and to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. From the moment we entered, it was evident that our expectations were not going to be met. Firstly, the igloo we were seated in was far from the pristine environment we anticipated. It was dirty, with stains and marks that detracted from the ambiance. Additionally, the lighting was inadequate, leaving us struggling to see our meals properly. Furthermore, the interior decor was a far cry from the polished images we had seen online. Instead of the elegant setting we had imagined, we were greeted with what appeared to be cheap TJ Maxx blankets thrown haphazardly around the space. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing, to say the least. Adding to our dissatisfaction was the state of the menu, which was stained and unkempt. This not only gave a poor impression of the establishment's cleanliness but also left us questioning the overall quality of the dining experience. Overall, our meal at Gurney's fell far short of the value we expected from such a renowned establishment. We had hoped for an evening of indulgence and sophistication, but instead, we were met with disappointment at every turn. It's safe to say that we will not be returning anytime soon, and we certainly cannot recommend it to others seeking a memorable dining experience.

The setting on the ocean is beautiful. The igloo was very nicely decorated. However, the service and food was lacking to say the least. Overall, way too overpriced for what you are receiving. I wouldn't recommend.

We booked the igloo for the two of us. There are 6 chairs set up in the igloo and it seems to me to be more designed for a large group. The one heater in the igloo is woefully inadequate to keep you warm even when you sit right next to the heater and while wearing a heavy winter coat. Thankfully, I had read an Open Table review and knew to dress warmly but still needed to wear the blankets that were on each chair. Food choice very limited. Sandwich and fries were good. Service was excellent. No music - we played background music on our phone.

The experience was very nice and unique, however, the smell inside the igloo was less than desirable. It was also not as warm and cozy as you would think. Chairs were outdoor chairs unlike the picture which looked like a cozy couch, food was not all that great. And I was not aware of the $100 min. food and drink charge until after the fact.

Terrible! Plastic utensils, paper napkins, no tablecloth, tilted table, plastic cups, a $23 cocktail served in a paper cup, no "activities", not enough heat for what is advertised as a " cozy atmosphere", no music. Great concept, zero execution.

We were excited to be in the igloo, it was very cold and the heaters weren't turned on when we got there. Even when they were turned on, we had to get blankets and were still cold. We asked for a certain bottle of wine, and they said they didn't have it and could only give us another bottle $50 more. It took over a half an hour to check out. The food was decent but overpriced. The venue was beautiful and we were able to connect our music to a speaker in the igloo. You can hear the ocean which we found enjoyable. Overall, I wouldn't do it again.

The Igloo was cold even though we asked and received blankets. Initial service was slow taking 15 minutes but then service was very good after that. food was good as were drinks. Beware though that drinks are unreasonably priced, $22 to $24 for a cocktail, nothing fancy. Decorations were from Family Dollar. Overall if it was warmer, it would have been fine but for Gurneys, it should have been better. The heaters in the igloos are tiny, maybe higher BTU heaters would help. Overall not worth the high price

Out door igloo overlooking the water. Beautiful in theory but was too dark to see anything and freezing in the igloo despite saying they were heated. Did not have any activity or entertainment as advertised. And a 50 mandatory donation in top of a 100 minimum. It was only barely ok. DEFINITELY not worth it.

Staff/service was very good, temperature was a bit cool but blankets were available and you can adjust the heater to your liking. Only two igloos actually offer a view of the ocean (ours did not) so specify if that's important to you. The two hour time frame is more than enough time. We enjoyed it. Do I feel the need to do it again? No.

We were the first reservation of the day. When we got to our bubble the heater was not yet turned on and the first 15-20 mins. were pretty painful. The food was great! However, the service and servers employed at all of Gurney's are not in line with the experience you expect from this establishment.

Heater didn't work in the igloo. We kept telling them it didn't work and it would turn on then shut off. Basically froze while eating. Asked to switch and they only offered to waive the $50 fee.

For such a swanky place, the igloo was a disgusting mess. Food was everywhere on the floor! Just disgusting. We made the best of it as to not have to wait any longer than we were made to...(we were seated after our reservation time and expected to leave on time!) We were told the wait was due to the staff "cleaning" the igloo. Not too sure what they cleaned!

Our igloo experience was truly disappointing. The Valentine's Day decor inside is cheap, it looked like it likely came from the dollar store and our heater didn't work at all. We asked someone to look at it and they just shrugged when it didn't work. We were excited for the cozy blankets (we saw the Barefoot Dreams "experience" info on the Gurney's website) and a more luxe experience for the price. We would have happily warmed up with more drinks, but service was very slow and we couldn't even order more. The menu outside is very limited and we knew that, but it made the whole experience feel even more meh.
