Amazing oceanside food truck serving the absolute BEST Lobster Roll in Montauk! You're actually getting whole lobster pieces on buttered brioche bun, yum, not mayo and celery fillings. He also offers great breakfast and other delicious lunch choices but here the Lobster Roll is the star. Relaxing vibe by the ocean, reasonable prices and Steve the owner is a charming character always ready to have a friendly chat. This place is a must go when in Montauk

Steve is the man! Food is always superb. Fast and friendly. The lobster rolls are the best in Montauk. He puts care into every order no matter how small or big. The Wave Crave is worth the visit better then “Lunch” or the “Clam Bar” stop by the Wave Crest Resort and find out!

Wave Crave Steve makes the best lobster rolls "Out East" hands down. Delicious and so fresh ?. His breakfast sandwiches and smoothies also fulfill morning cravings. Besides being a great cook, Steve is a friendly and personable guy and loves to share his fond memories from Montauk which are delightful to hear. Must try.

We spent the day at Hither Hills State Park and visited Wave Crave for lunch. We ordered cheeseburgers with fries, and the burgers were delicious with plentiful melted cheese. The staff were also very nice. If you are coming from the state park, you need to walk across the beach to the resort next to the park.
Fresh and incredibly delicious lobster roll. If you’re more budget conscious I would recommend the chicken wrap. Both meals were on point.

Steve is so nice, I’m staying at the wave crest and he remembered my name throughout my stay. All the food I had was pretty good, and Steve is NOT lying when he says he’s got the best (hot) lobster roll in montauk. Highly recommend!
