City Winery Hudson Valley Wineries • $$

“This was my first time at this indoor event menu and I was totally taken by surprise. The sound was terrific; at any seat you are close to the stage even as the large as the room is with tables that seat about 600 people (a bit close together). The food is very good as well. Raul Malo was unbelievably awesome!!!“

Baldwin Vineyards Winery • $$

“Cute vineyard, with fruit wines in addition to more traditional grape wines. Definitely suggest the strawberry and the apple wine.Limited food available (crackers/cheese).Staff was friendly and the space is cute to spend a day with friends, in their space with goats and chickens on premise. There was also live music when we went which was a nice touch.“

“My friends and I had a winery tour and tasting. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the history of the winery. The tasting was excellent. I brought 2 bottles of wine home. Before the tour we enjoyed brunch at 1839 restaurant. The wine flight was tasty! Can't wait to revisit.“

Brimstone Hill Vineyard Wineries • $$
61 Brimstone Hill Rd, Pine Bush - 8.21 miles

“Easily the best value wine I've come across in the Hudson Valley (and I've been to over a dozen HV wineries by now). Don't be fooled by the appearance of the building. Their focus is on winemaking and they're serious about it.Particularly enjoyed the Chardonnay, Marechal Foch (estate grown), and Cab Franc.Though the Chard uses grapes from the Finger Lakes, it's better than any Chard I've had from a Finger Lakes winery. Similarly, the Cab Franc is sourced, but quite solid - probably still better than any Cab Franc I've had from a NY winery (FLX, HV, or Long Island) and I would put it up against its Loire Valley inspiration. If you come for a tasting, you'll likely meet the proprietor/winemaker, so it's a great place to learn about winemaking in the Hudson Valley.“

Whitecliff Vineyard & Winery Winery • $$
331 Mckinstry Rd, Gardiner - 9.34 miles

“The service was great I would highly recommend this winery over Robibero the service we experienced there was very awkward and rude. Whitecliff is a million times better. The Lagrange is great it's probably one of the best wines I have ever had and and immediately fell in love with it and bought 3 bottles.“
