when you walk into a restaurant and there are white linen tablecloths and the waiters are wearing ties, then you know you are in for a quality evening. there is a nice roomy yet comfy atmosphere to go with amazing service. the food however is the star. Ciao Bella was the perfect find for our lake house weekend. For context, a group of 9 of us visited Monticello for the first time last week. We couldn’t find a good place to eat until taking a drive and finding Ciao Bella.

Even without a reservation, we were seated almost immediately in their outdoor patio (which is fully heated and lit up beautifully). We were served by very kind waitstaff all night and we loved the atmosphere.

From the barbiatola (beet salad), the specials, to the tartufo (desert) with espresso, every morsel was so delightful! I can't wait until we visit up here again so we can return to Ciao Bella!
