“Solaia was a pleasant surprise for me on my husband’s birthday last week. He chose this restaurant as his preferred location for his birthday dinner and it was a great choice. The service from the moment we were trying to find the right door to enter through bc it was raining to the moment we received our check it was hand and foot. I appreciated that bc the level and attention to detail of service usually predicates how the rest of the night goes.

Calamari Fritti. 10/10 Simple dish executed very well and you can tell the Calamari was fresh. The squeeze of the lemon wedge on top absolutely took it up a notch. Great appetizer. The spicy tomato sauce that pairs with this is EXCELLENT.

Endive Gorgonzola Insalata. 8/10 I appreciated this salad bc of my time in Belgium when I played professional basketball. The endive is bitter, the Gorgonzola is sour and fatty, the balsamic glaze was sweet as well as the walnuts that added to the texture. My only criticism was I needed another soft delicate lettuce (butter crisp maybe) to compliment the endives and that would’ve made this a 10/10 for me.

Roasted Artichoke Hearts. 10/10 First time really having authentic Italian Artichoke Hearts and I WANT MORE. The way they fanned out the hearts at the end was so aesthetically pleasing. The garlic and oil was robust but it was so good. The stems were more hardier than the delicate tender leaves. I’ve been thinking about this dish since we left.

Mushroom Risotto w Jumbo Shrimp. 10/10 My goodness the mushroom flavor was STRONG and I’m convinced now that I pondered on it a for a few days that they used dried mushrooms and rehydrated them. The rice was perfect Al Dente. I can come back just for this and a glass of wine. Shrimp were so fresh.

Salmon Dish. My husband got the Salmon Pasta dish that he ate with no complaints. I did not taste it like I normally do but next time.

“Ok, so since i last visited, the price went up 4x. Parking was almost full, and people were still coming in. It was my first time launching my own boat, on a very busy day.On the launch, my friend was guiding me, but when the time came to pull the boat out, i struggled a little. The owner came out and helped me by guiding my steering. No one got upset, and we managed to be quick about it without unnecessary stress.I can recommend that if you are there on a busy weekend, use the marina, pay the fee, and remove stress from your life.“

“I was at Kartrite water resort with the family, and whenever you stay at these resorts, they hold you hostage with poor quality food. Nelly's is only 5 minutes away. This place has soul; the food is great with authentic dishes, the prices are budget friendly, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is clean and casual. We need to support these privately owned ma and pop establishments. Or the only thing that will be left is a BK or Wendy's on ever corner.“

“We had a cheeseburger and one of the breakfast meals. Both were delicious! Parking is ample, ramp inside, booths, tables, and counter seating.

Kid-friendliness: Took our 5 month old and everything was nice, asked if we wanted a high chair as we sat down.“

“The fried chicken was on point . We wanted to try to the bougey viet place next door but I saw 5 tables still waiting and service appeared slow. Maybe that's their motif but I like the buffets no nonsense hurry up and buy pace . This buffet had all the pace and fried chicken to satiate any country or urban dweller. Also they had water melon . I like fried chicken and watermelon.“

“One of the best pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of eating! It's a small and no frills pizza shop with very limited seating. The prices were unbelievably reasonable, a medium cheese pizza was only $13 and it was huge! I highly recommend it and would definitely eat there again when in the area.“

“The hostess was very friendly and sweet. Seated us quickly and then we had sweet Amanda who was informative, friendly, attentive and professional. Everything was delicious and fresh. We had the burgers, turkey blt, cheese quesadillas, herb roasted chicken, chicken tenders and the sweet potato fries (they were really good, sweet & has a little kick to it).
