This is a cute restaurant. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was relatively quiet. The food is pretty good and despite being the only people there, we weren't rushed up. I recommend checking out this sweet little restaurant.

My wife and I went here on Easter Sunday afternoon and it was us and two other couples. The place was small but had a nice homey feel to it. Nicely decorated and there was a small bar in the back. They had nice soft music in the background. We ordered the Monarca meatballs for an appetizer. They were average size not large and there were two. They were dry and had no taste. They were served with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and shredded fresh Parmesan on top. For entrees we ordered the Chicken Madeira and Rigatoni Marsala. The Marsala sauce was more like a broth and they gave very little food. I probably had 4 strips of chicken and two Portobello mushrooms which were cut up to make it look like more. They also gave very little pasta. It was very little food for the price. It was not worth the money or our time. We won't be going back.

Great little place. If you are looking for a low-key place where you can relax, chat and have amazing food without being rushed don't hesitate. Food and service were great. Barrata flat bread was superb! Highly recommend!

5/5 This is an absolute hidden gem. The service was prompt and professional. The food was great, we ordered the brunch burger, it was fantastic. I didn't have any of the cocktails, however they do seem to have a full bar. We went on a Saturday and it was practically empty, very relaxed atmosphere.Parking: We parked on the back side of the restaurant off the main street - parking lot was free and there were plenty of free spaces.Kid-friendliness: I would feel safe bringing my children here.Wheelchair accessibility: You could easily access this establishment via wheelchair.

We hit a home run with this hidden jewel! Monarca, is a cozy and small restaurant that is ideal for a quiet dinner and tasty cuisine. Their booking app was Toast Tables, one I'm unfamiliar, but functioned similarly to Open Table, and worked efficiently.Parking on Friday (1/6/24) evening was $1.25 for 2.5 hours, more than enough time for our visit. Our server/host was Wilmer, who we found to be very welcoming and friendly. He worked the floor almost single-handedly, but was able to avail himself to answer questions and provide quality service. To start, we ordered margaritas. Julie had the strawberry and I had the classic. These drinks were made perfectly and tastefully. They were probably the best drinks we've ever had, including the ones we've enjoyed in Mexico! We shared a delicious Caesar's Salad that had crispy greens and flavorful dressing. I savored the medium-rare rib eye steak, though it was a bit pricey. Julie said her chicken tacos were the best tacos she's ever had! For dessert we shared a Vanilla Crème brûlée, that was outstandingly fresh! We finally found our golden spot that I'm sure we will frequent with future regularity! Way to go Monarca!

Attentive service! They accommodated our group of 6 quickly. Our server was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. Lots of different options on the menu, too, which made it easy for everyone to find something they liked. Music was a little loud, but that didn't get in the way of anything!

I went here for a dinner on a Saturday night with my family, and I thought the food and service were both outstanding. The cocktail menu was also very creative, and the margaritas were delicious. We started with the arancini. There were two to share served over tomato sauce, and they were enough as an appetizer for 4 people. For entrees, the highlights were definitely the Al Pastor tacos and the skirt steak. Both were cooked perfectly and had a generous portion. The shrimp scampi and pasta bolognese were also good, but the sauce was a touch soupy for my liking. The tartufo dessert was excellent. I highly recommend trying it. Will definitely like to come back again for brunch or dinner.

This was an amazing dining experience. The owner went above and beyond what is expected by any normal standard. The meal was extremely well prepared to my wishes and delicious. I had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. I would recommend this for any occasion but especially as a date night.

Escaping NYC for the day, our group stumbled upon Monarca’s for dinner - and so very glad we did!! We ordered different entrees and none were disappointed. The staff literally went out of their way, unnecessary and graciously, to accommodate our requests. The owner, Wuilmer, is a fantastic host!!
