Five Stars - This is What Great Coffee Culture Looks Like
I've been to a lot of Starbucks locations, but this one stands out...because of Matt and other great baristas there.
Calling out Matt bc he isn't just a great barista. He's the kind of person who elevates everyone around him. He remembers orders, creates beautiful latte art on flat whites, and genuinely cares about every customer who walks through the door. You can hear him behind the bar staying on top of every detail, coordinating the team, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
I actually asked him once what his long-term goals were, because it's obvious he's one of those rare people who would excel at anything they choose to do. The fact that he's chosen to bring that energy and attention to detail to making great coffee experiences? We're lucky to have him.
His team reflects his leadership. Special shout-out to Tommy, who keeps the space welcoming and adds his own warmth to the vibe.
I work from my favorite table here regularly, and it's become more than just a coffee shop. It's a place where people care about what they do and who they serve. That starts with Matt and radiates outward.
If you're looking for a Starbucks where the coffee is great and the people are even better, this is your spot.

Traveling Cosmos and Tacos
This is a very welcoming Starbucks in Mt Kisco with a large seating area. The seating area consist of bar height tables & stools and a few lower tables & chairs. The staff were friendly and a staff member was cleaning the tables regularly.

My little sister was waiting for the new holiday bearista cup and when we showed up, they told us they had none 😑 😒. And then the food was so bitter and the floor has like coffee or pee on the floor. One of the worst places to enjoy a simple coffee.

The drinks are hit or miss depending on who makes them. The only problem I had was getting the persons attention who was making my drink. She was in a deep conversation with a friend who was hanging out on the side of the counter while making drinks. Needless to say, mistakes were made. Got frustrated and took my drink. Ended up throwing it out. Asked for 2% milk and no whipped cream. Got whole milk and too much whipped cream.

One star because I asked for light on the whipped cream and instead of light on the whipped cream ( just a little bit ) they gave me HALF OF THE CUP WITH WHIPPED CREAM. Try their Banana pecan cake it’s great! Make sure you ask for whipped cream on the side or in an extra cup .. same goes for ice .. if you get any drink with ice prepare to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a cup with ice & 2 ounces of your drink of choice. Don’t say you weren’t warned!

Disappointing Experience – Lacks Consistency and Quality
I've visited this location several times, trying different drinks and coffees, and unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. Compared to other Starbucks locations, the drinks here lack balance—too much coffee, not enough cream or sugar, and overall poor execution. The Mango Dragonfruit Refresher with lemonade, for example, tasted watered down and lacked the vibrant flavor it's known for.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of consistency. One of the things I love about Starbucks is knowing what to expect, but at this location, every order has been off in some way.
Additionally, the staff here doesn't seem as friendly or welcoming as those at other Starbucks stores. It’s disheartening, especially when part of the Starbucks experience is the inviting atmosphere and great customer service.
I hope this location improves, because right now it falls short of the quality and consistency Starbucks is known for.

Downtown Mount Kisco looks like the set of a hallmark movie. This Starbucks fits right in. Very clean and friendly service. Drinks came out fast and hot. Enjoyed my time. Clean bathrooms too.
