We had early reservations at 530p so we were one of two tables in the entire place. We opted for a high top table outside to look at the Espous Creek. Server was very attentive and brought us bread and water. Bread could've been warmed but not a deal breaker just an opinion. There were not more than 5 tables occupied with patrons in the entire restaurant, but a table with a mom & 3 small children was seated directly behind us and the “screeching” baby (in a high chair) changed the atmosphere from pleasant to unmanageable very quickly. The mom could have requested to be seated away from other folks, knowing that her adorable baby was a high-pitched-screecher!
If you're looking for a lovely scene of the country to have a relaxing dining experience, this is a fine place to satisfy those needs. Service was good, yet the waitress was seemingly a summer gig person - a little nervous and unsure. She tried. Food was good, yet somewhat nconsistent. My wife had trout which was just all right.
