“I get so excited every time we get a chance to visit Oracabessa. This is my favorite go to spot for delicious, authentic, home style Jamaican food, that always hits the spot. Regardless the time of day, Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, they gotcha! The food tastes like someone has poured love and magic into every bite and the portion sizes are Nice! While I have my faves, I totally recommend you try everything and see for yourself.
Did I mention they always host fish fry’s? You’re so lucky to have found them, enjoy!“

“I just recently found out about this gem of a place. If you’re looking for very good southern style food you found the right place. I’ve had the fried chicken, the smothered pork chops, the yams, and the mac & cheese. I also tried all the available desserts. Delicious. The workers were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, they are closed Sunday and Monday.“

“I’ve lived in Mount Vernon for all my life and have found this place to be one of the best. The only thing I wish they still did was delivery. The food is always good. The service has always been accommodating when they did delivery. And even when I barely had the money to pay for food they still provided service. For me this restaurant has a special place in my heart.“

“Best Chinese food in Mount Vernon so far. Ribs is my go to when i go here. Yummy. The bbq sauce is delish. Spots not expensive compared to other chinese spots. They have lunch specials from 11 to 4. Think the most expensive thing is like $10 and lunch comes with an egg roll. Highly recommend ?.“

“Had JerkQ’zine cater the cocktail hour of my wedding this past weekend on 10.10.2020. I ordered many small bites including cocktail patties, assorted surprise dumpling bites, and fritters.
