We ate here on 9/20/24 for lunch. The Roast beef on Kimmelweck and fries with brown gravy were very good and generous portions. Our waitress was very good also. However, my wife and I decided on each getting a piece of pie to go, and that's when it went downhill. My coconut cream pie was horrible, and I threw most away. The whip topping was hard and the filling was rubbery with very little taste. My wife chose raspberry pie and it appeared to be a few days old.
After reading a review about this place being a 1972 time warp and dust all over the ceiling we were a little hesitant coming here for breakfast...but we are sure glad we came!! The service was excellent, the waitresses are super friendly, the food tasted great and came out quick with good portion sizes, and it's not expensive! They have some of the best coconut cream pie and banana pie you will ever eat! I'm assuming they cleaned the ceilings bc there is no dust on...
Nice little spot after a long day of hiking! All the kids finished their meals so that says something! I had the premier burger. It was delicious and cooked perfect. Waitress was attentive as well. We will be back
