We were staying in a nearby town with friends for a weekend getaway and stopped by The Heron for brunch — it was lovely. From the Christmas decorations (which put us all in the holiday spirit) to the kind greeting from the host, the excellent service, and the food and drinks, I highly recommend it. We heard this place was great but didn’t expect it to be one of our favorite dinners ever. The vegan bowl with Katsu style tofu was amazing. We also loved the catfish and broccolini. Also be sure to get a homemade biscuit with honey butter. The team working there were so nice and welcoming! We will be back very soon!
This restaurant is consistently outstanding in every category. The atmosphere is always lively and bustling, and the staff manages the busy environment with impressive skill. I've never felt overlooked, whether dining alone or with a large group.
