We went last night after the dinner rush. The owner was friendly and engaging. The food was good and came out quickly. We will definitely go back!
The sesame chicken was so tough today that it was inedible. My son and I both had to spit it out. It's unfortunate because we have had some decent meals from here.
When I went to pick up my pick up order food wasn’t even ready and not friendly
Just terrible customer service and there was a mouse trap right there .. gross

The food was really inedible. Even the sweet and sour sauce was awful. Eonton soup tasted like dis water and was the same color. The dumplings were horrible.

My parents ordered food from this place multiple times for delivery Every time something in the order was messed up, no soy sauce in the bag no duck sauce in the bag. They can never get an order, right. Last time ordering from this place

My family and I decided to try the new Mandarin Restaurant for dinner tonight. I’ve already heard rave reviews of how amazing the food is now— so was excited to try. It was DELICIOUS! We ordered takeout, but the woman on the phone seemed incredibly sweet.
The pork dumplings were yummy and we tried both fried and steamed. The sauce that came with them was also tasty. Additionally, we got scallion pancakes that were cooked to perfection. So light and airy, and just yummy! My husband said they were the best ones he’s had.
The sesame shrimp was amazing and not overly breaded like most places! The sauce was perfect, too.
The general Tao’s was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. Crispy and not too spicy. We also got lomein and pork fried rice that were both really good.
We’re so happy to have such an amazing Chinese place in New City!! We’re looking forward to ordering from Mandarin again soon.

I have not been to Mandarin for many years. The spare ribs were superb. The owner Rong is very nice. Definitely, a must try.

Food not that great. Hostess/maybe owner? not friendly. Didn’t ask how the food was, never brought over the bill, sat and talked on her phone, didn’t say good bye or thank you. Will not return!

Their food is delicious especially the Sichuan dishes. Wish they had more of those. We go there regularly and have never been disappointed. The restaurant is also a very pleasant place to sit in and dine.
If I had to find any negatives, I would have to say that their portions are quite small - judging by the boxes that are provided for takeout. Because their food is so delicious, I wish they gave more for the prices they charge.
All in all, a 5 star place.

Been here twice already in the last two weeks, and the new owner and chef are fantastic! If you didn’t love it before, please give the new Mandarin another chance
