Outstanding food and outstanding service. We went for a birthday, and they provided a dessert for the birthdays we were celebrating. I definitely recommend going, as it’s an amazing experience with amazing food. Additionally, it’s on the quieter side, with a very calm atmosphere. Very well-decorated too!!

The cook used utensil for chicken then rice noodles and veggies all at once. No hibachi typical fanfare. Usually they use different utensils for meat and everything else…so that was rather surprising. It felt rushed!!!!!! Like fast food hibachi and it’s a shame because the food was good! If u want the full hibachi experience they are not it! Very nice staff but cook should have went at a typical pace. Not here I’m cooking everything all at once here’s ur volcano and ok bye! Not impressed!!!!

Mizu Hibachi & Sushi has been one of our go-to spots in New City since they opened. We come here at least twice a month, and at this point, the owner and staff feel like family. The service is always outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive.
The food comes out quickly and is always served at the right temperature—hot for hibachi, cold and fresh for sushi. While the hibachi show was a big hit when our son was younger (and the chefs always put on a great performance), we now prefer to sit at a table and enjoy a more relaxed meal.
The food, service, and prices check all the boxes. We’ve never had a bad experience. In fact, we’ve hosted several large gatherings here, including birthday parties and even a karaoke night with over 50 people—and they always accommodate us with ease.
One of our favorite things? As soon as we walk in, they bring our drinks without even asking. They usually know our orders too—except for me, since I like to switch it up!
We truly can’t say enough good things about Mizu. It’s a gem in New City, and we’re so grateful to have it nearby.

Need some new chefs. The quality of the food is always good. However, the chef we had was quite poor, to put it mildly. He actually cooked the food in the opposite order of any hibachi place I’ve ever seen, whereas the proteins were cooked first, followed by the noodles, then the rice and then the vegetables. On top of this, the vegetables were basically raw and just full of oil. He also wasn’t trained to create the fire volcano or throw food with his spatula. I’m unsure how they determine the experience of the cooks here but they should probably do more training for the. Place was not festive.

Service was horrible. Every single person needed a refill. No one ever came around to ask if we needed anything. Price is double than anywhere else and the place has no service.

I ordered a sushi lunch via phone. It was quick. Was greeted as soon as I walked in and the gentleman at the front was very nice. The sushi rolls were delicious and had great quality shrimp. I got the shrimp avocado and the spicy shrimp roll. When I’m back in the area I’ll definitely stop by for a dine in experience.

Not sure when the change happened, but I will never be back. Service was non existent. Chef did not want to be there and I had to ask him to put my noodles back on because they were still cold. If it was our first hibachi experience it would have ruined hibachi for us all!!
Things are too expensive to spend my money here.

We made a reservation while staying at Eagle Rock for my daughter’s birthday. The service was great and so was the hibachi guy. He was very entertaining and gave a nice show. He even gave my daughter a birthday balloon. Food was really good and the servers were very attentive. We did 4 hibachi dinners and my wife did two rolls. Everything was great. They even sang happy birthday for my daughter’s birthday and gave her a free cake. The bill was half of what we would pay for hibachi back home in NY. Definitely give this place a try!
