Absolutely incredible experience at Mizu Hibachi in New City! From the moment we sat down, everything was top tier. Waiter Han and Chef Lou worked so seamlessly together—it honestly elevated the entire evening. Han was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, while Chef Lou brought amazing energy, skill, and flavor to the table. The food was outstanding—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the best hibachi I’ve ever had. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. And I have to mention the Asian pear martini… it was next level and a must-try! Between the exceptional customer service, the fun and comfortable atmosphere, and the high-quality food and drinks, this place truly stands out. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

Welcome to Mizu we hope you bring your own heat! We went on New Year’s Eve for family dinner and it was freezing, food was cold . We ended up eating our dinner in winter coats ! It used to be good not anymore i guess! Big Disappointment! People next to us were eating in Winter jackets as well!

Went for New Year’s Eve dinner with family.. no heat in the restaurant, we were all sitting in jackets..place was absolutely freezing!!! Food cooled off in minutes and meat was dry… we waited about half an hour for a waiter to take our drink and food order.. I really don’t have anything more nice to say so I’ll stop now.. used to love this place ..

Gosh, I love this place so much. The food is delicious and the staff are all incredible. Our family has been going here for years and it’s truly a gem of New City. They make the cutest little ice cream teddy bears! My kids freak out for them!

Got the chicken hibachi it was disgusting noodles and rice were so greasy.. I definitely do not recommend
Outstanding food and outstanding service. We went for a birthday, and they provided a dessert for the birthdays we were celebrating. I definitely recommend going, as it’s an amazing experience with amazing food. Additionally, it’s on the quieter side, with a very calm atmosphere. Very well-decorated too!!

The cook used utensil for chicken then rice noodles and veggies all at once. No hibachi typical fanfare. Usually they use different utensils for meat and everything else…so that was rather surprising. It felt rushed!!!!!! Like fast food hibachi and it’s a shame because the food was good! If u want the full hibachi experience they are not it! Very nice staff but cook should have went at a typical pace. Not here I’m cooking everything all at once here’s ur volcano and ok bye! Not impressed!!!!

Mizu Hibachi & Sushi has been one of our go-to spots in New City since they opened. We come here at least twice a month, and at this point, the owner and staff feel like family. The service is always outstanding—friendly, fast, and attentive.
The food comes out quickly and is always served at the right temperature—hot for hibachi, cold and fresh for sushi. While the hibachi show was a big hit when our son was younger (and the chefs always put on a great performance), we now prefer to sit at a table and enjoy a more relaxed meal.
The food, service, and prices check all the boxes. We’ve never had a bad experience. In fact, we’ve hosted several large gatherings here, including birthday parties and even a karaoke night with over 50 people—and they always accommodate us with ease.
One of our favorite things? As soon as we walk in, they bring our drinks without even asking. They usually know our orders too—except for me, since I like to switch it up!
We truly can’t say enough good things about Mizu. It’s a gem in New City, and we’re so grateful to have it nearby.
