Ventured forth to this Chinese Take-out restaurant in New Lebanon. To my happy surprise, the food was quite good. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious, the wonton soup was tasty, and the wontons were quite good. My chicken and broccoli with fried rice was pretty perfect — and I was especially pleased that the broccoli wasn't overcooked. My friend had the spareribs, which he also enjoyed. I recently tried 88 China City for takeout and had a pretty decent experience overall. The food was hot, portions were reasonable, and the prices were fair for the amount of food you get. It’s a good option when you’re looking for a quick and affordable Chinese meal. I especially enjoyed the pork fried rice and dumplings.
