My friends and I visited Brooklyn Cider House on a snowy Saturday, which was lovely because we were the only ones there upon arriving. The indoor area has a good amount of seating to accommodate visitors, and there's also items for sale lining the walls including snacks, drinks, etc. We all opted for flights, but their machine had an issue processing card payments likely due to the snowstorm. We were still able to place orders and pay later on once the issue was resolved. The dry flight was okay, the sweet flight was a little better. I wanted to order a particular one on tap, but it seemed they had a very minimal selection available for those. It would be nice if there were more tap options, as that form is always the best for ciders. It's worth stopping in if you're planning on hanging around New Paltz, but I wouldn't make an entire trip there for the cidery.

They were in Brooklyn but, closed and relocated. We enjoyed their new location and the Cider was very satisfying. We tried several and decided to order a couple of pizzas. To my surprise they were very good.

I would not recommend the Brooklyn Cider House, based on my experience. The cider tasting area located inside the main building can fit four people, max. You are crammed inside a small corner literally on top of people. When we attempted to go outside and purchase a cup of cider from the cider station, the cider station was closed. A note on the bar said "Be back in 30 min" (I should note this is the only place to purchase cider on property.) My friends and I left. I expected more from a place like this - especially in mid to late October, when it's their busy season. Won't return. Would not recommend.

Cider is great but the food took foreverrrr and was terrible :(. Dry non fresh pretzels. Premade horrible salads. They were out of a ton of things. Burger ordered with bacon came with out it. Was overcooked. Come here for the cider for sure but not the food.

The farm is cute and it is dog friendly which is nice. The local band was a nice touch. The farm didn’t charge entry which was also nice. The food is good for a farm that said the wait was over the top and a lot of food was sold out the day we were there. They also have a shop with tshirts, Fishwife seafood tins (however not well stocked) and other non plastic items which is cool.Brooklyn ciders are a great product.Luckily for us the local staff working outside were super friendly and accommodating and let us have a small try before buying, since the tastings seemed to be a big ask indoors.Indoors the scene was two older crankier hosts who seemed to not want to make much eye contact with customers. I got a distinct “we’re a little too cool to be working here” vibe.Maybe they want to bring Brooklyn to the burbs. All good but remember the cool people grow up, have kids and then spend the money that grows local jobs. Maybe keep the snarl at a low roar.

First off, this is NOT an "Oktoberfest". Maybe an "Harvestfest" or a "Ciderfest", but by no means an "Oktoberfest" with a "K". Oktoberfest is a centuries long tradition in Bavarian culture that features FOODS and BEERSof the regions. You have misrepresented the event... A LOT. That is the very least of your event's problems. Outrageously disorganized and not the first year of this event from past reviews. If you are expecting this many people to come to your venue (and you did, because this is not the first year), then you must change how you do things. It wasn't worth the time we spent there figuring out how the food and drink orders were set up and how to collect said food and drink, not to mention how slow the lines were and understaffed; and then pay for the privilege!!! Fortunately, my partner and I have worked in the food service industry and recognized very early how futile our stay would be. There was a family of 7 in the parking lot eating Ramen they had brought as we left after 30 mins. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You cannot advertise a family event with food and drinks available for purchase and then not be able to supply those services to patrons year after year under those circumstances. It's a bait and switch. Working class people with small childen are driving 2 hours up from the city to stand in lines for hours. Shame on you. This is yet another example of a trust fund business who values online promotion above service. Don't worry, you're not alone up here in the Hudson valley, there are plenty of places now who have no regard for their customers or the difference between publicizing a business and running one. I will be sure to let my friends and neighbors know; both here and in the city. Good luck with your future IPO. #generationalwealth

Do not order the food. They cant handle it. Everyone waited 2 hours today. For burgers and pizza. A joke. Byof and byob. Apples are good. Outsource your food to food trucks.

The apple cider donuts are deliciously moist and flavorful. They have other food options outside, too, with live music. Highly recommend the Little Wild if you enjoy sweeter hard ciders. It's a great place to grab food or a quick snack and a drink, and then sit at a picnic table overlooking the pond.

We stopped here with our family for drinks & lunch and it was perfect. The cider & food were great. We placed a pretty large order of food and it was done fast. There is plenty of seating that is covered. I loved that they were dog friendly so I could bring my dog. We will be back!

This was a very family-friendly eating experience for me. I would have enjoyed it just as much for a date. The food was delicious, I had the scrumptious Twin Star burger, and many members of my family had pizzas, which were also delicious. The scenery is peaceful and enjoyable to look at with the lake, orchard, barn, and gorgeous sunset. Guests can wander around freely and a stop in the gift shop is worth every penny spent.Kid-friendliness: This is a very kid-friendly venue to eat and not worry about noise. There are plenty of things to see and do that don't cost anything more than the meal. This is a very family-friendly environment.Parking: Plenty of parking that is free. Self-park in a field that sits at the entrance to the orchard.

Came here on a date night with my husband. Ordered some pizzas, but something happened with the order tickets and they took extra long to come out. The staff was super accommodating and apologetic and gave us some freebie food while we waited. EXCELLENT pizza. Well worth the wait. The cider is also delicious. Can't wait to come back!

Didn’t know what to expect but fell in love! Hungry from driving, we stopped for lunch here and enjoyed delicious burgers! Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The Little Wild hard cider was delightful and refreshing, not too sweet. I would love to come back and walk around on a non rainy day
