There was a very noisy group at the restaurant, Management did nothing to quiet the group, This happened the last time we went there too. The waiter kept on bringing them more to drink. Other diners were also disturbed.

The room is so noisy that we could barely hear our waiter or each other. They really need to add some noise canceling panels, plants etc. Even though, they have an extensive wine list (some bottles extremely expensive) the white wine list is very limited. 3 Pinot Grigio, Gavi Gavi, and a bottle I didn't recognize. A young woman showed us to our table and didn't even welcome us or make eye contact. Very inexperienced in hospitality. We ordered a bottle of cab and the waiter came back to tell us they were out of it but brought another bottle and told us “it was a steal at $50” The food was good, nothing special. Definitely some room for improvement in both service and atmosphere. With a bit more training and some attention to ambiance they could improve the place a lot.

We had a lovely experience dining here. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant is a little noisy but as tables left it was better. The Chicken Martini was fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant in every way. A great addition to the New Paltz area!!

Exceptional ❣️❣️❣️. Our server, Rob, greeted us warmly. Our drinks were spectacular as was the calamari. The lamp chops special was outstanding!

We had eaten at Ciao Bella once before and had a good experience. Not so much our second time. I make some allowances because it was a Saturday night and the staff was stretched. Here's the most important complaint. Because my husband is hearing impaired, I requested to be seated at the quietest possible table, gesturing to some further away from a large, loud party. The hostess refused and seated us right next to the two-table party. The tables I suggested remained empty the entire time we were there. Apparently no one had reserved them. I have two other complaints I won't bother with. In general I would say the staff needs training in how to be courteous and responsive.

Food was amazing! I had the Capelinni Paradiso and the sauce was delicious and shrimp cooked to perfection. For dessert Tiramisu and it was also delicious. I would recommend for a nice date night with very good Italian food

Lovely! The dry aged steak was very good. And the seafood ravioli were very tasty and prepared well. The service was very good. And the desserts were excellent. The restaurant interior was lovely and the outdoor area where we sat was very pleasant. Plenty of parking as a bonus. We will definitely be going back!

My dish, the halibut, was perfect and delicious, however; my wife's dish, the chicken parm with pasta, was very generic and the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, nothing tasted chef made. Our apps and desert were very good. Service was impeccable, and friendly. All.done with a smile. The atmosphere was to contemporary for our liking, we prefer a more intimate and warm atmosphere.
Overall, it was a very good experience and date night.
Thank you.

Excellent food, ambience and service!! Will definitely come back again when we're in the area. Great choice for a birthday dinner for my fiancé!

We went here for dinner and it was so tasty. The entrees and appetizer we had were very good. Staff was very attentive. There were birthday celebrations here that night and the mood was festive.

The food was good, but the service and wine list were not. Probably the worst wine selection out there for this price point. Five wines by the glass with no information other than type (cabernet/chardonnay). The unknown wine was awful! As for the service, it was lackluster at best. Upon our arrival, server that "greeted" us interrupted me mid-sentence to answer the phone on the first ring. Our server acted as though he was doing us a favor by being there. So odd and uncomfortable. I won't be returning. Sad because the food was tasty.

The restaurant is in what appears to be an old train station restored as a restaurant. Come in nice weather and eat outside. Everyone here is above par with excellent friendly service that is genuine. The food is excellent as well. The clams appetizer is delicious as is the chicken parm main dish. For dessert definitely get the pistachios ricotta cake, outstanding. Thanks for an amazing meal and time.
