We held a party here with 20 people. They were very accommodating to special requests. The food was great, and the service matched.

Loved the food. I took my mother here for her birthday.
I had the frito misto and the fungí ravioli.
My mother had the beet salad and the pollo martini.
For dessert she shared the almond cake.
Everything was so good! The staff was lovely.

Terrible service. One hour to take our order and had to chase the waiter throughout our meal. Luckily another waiter helped when we were otherwise ignored. Salads not good. Main course okay but not memorable. Very loud. There are better options!

We came here tonight for our 15 year anniversary. I wish I could give it more stars. Our waiter, Miko was amazing. The food was above expectations. We had the calamari as an appetizer. I had veal stuffed ravioli with Gorgonzola sauce. My wife had the crab and lobster ravioli with a tomato cream sauce. Dessert was phenomenal. We stayed in town for a few days. Nothing but disappointments in other restaurants. As far as I’m concerned no other restaurant exists in this town. This is our go to place from now on. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice presentation, but the quality of the food was disappointing.

A little disappointed. The atmosphere was good, no issues there. After we ordered our drinks, we asked for bread and they told us they don't have any left. They also didn't have their lava cake which can happen because it was 9pm when it was ordered. The portions were very small and the sauce from the penne ala vodka tasted like regular marinara sauce.

This was, hands down, one of the best meals and dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life (and I’m drawing from living, and eating in, London, NYC, and Los Angeles, the 3 cities I grew up in (I’ve lived in Gardiner now 10 years)). Everything was cooked and made to perfection, the service was perfect, friendly and attentive, and truly, I could not find one thing to criticize (and I’m a severe critic.) If I could give it ten stars, I would.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, and extra attentive staff to help.

Ciao Bella in New Paltz is truly a culinary treasure! From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by exceptional service that made our dining experience unforgettable. We started with the oyster appetizer, and it was a sensational choice. Fresh, briny, and perfectly shucked, each oyster was a taste of the sea served with a delightful mignonette that enhanced their natural flavors. Next, my beet salad was an absolute showstopper—vibrant and beautifully presented, the sweetness of the beets combined harmoniously with the creamy goat cheese and crunchy walnuts. For the main courses, I had the petite filet mignon, which was cooked to absolute perfection. Tender and flavorful, every bite melted in my mouth. My wife enjoyed the salmon, which was beautifully seared and served with a delightful sauce that perfectly complemented its richness. Each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. To top off our meal, we couldn't resist the tiramisu. Rich, creamy, and with just the right amount of espresso, it was the perfect ending to our delightful evening. Ciao Bella exceeded our expectations with its exquisite food and attentiveness. If you're in New Paltz, don't miss this gem! We'll definitely be returning for another fantastic meal.

I took my friend out for her birthday. We were so impressed with everything, from start to finish. Our waiter held the door open for us when we entered, and when we left. We chose an indoor table. The ambience was so pleasant. The table settings and black and white photos of Italian life were perfect. My friend had veal and I had bronzini fish. Both were delicious. My friend was more than pleased with the peach sorbet. My chocolate tartufo was very good. I asked for half of it to be wrapped up to take home. The waiter put it in the freezer and had it ready for us when we left. It was a perfect birthday dinner! Caio Bella will be our new special occasion restaurant.
