This place is nice but it is overpriced. The hot coffee was very good, but $4 which is too expensive for plain hot coffee. They roast their own beans, and it's awesome to have a place nearby that sells great freshly roasted beans. But a bag is like $24, which is too expensive. Worst of all I got a lemon blueberry scone which was $6, which is much too expensive for a scone if you ask me. The scone had a great texture but was lacking in flavor. The people at the counter were nice.

Right on the Walkill River/Empire State trails on the North side of New Paltz so a better more convenient location you cannot find. Place was busy and the wait was worth it.

Great coffee and nice pastries.

Lots of GEN Z stares; someone needs to teach them “ hello”, “ thank you”, and “ you are welcome”.

Not all of them, but enough of them are just plain sourpusses.

It’s a shame because it makes what could be a wonderful experience ( great product), a really unpleasant one ( lousy customer service).

I've spent the past week looking for the best chocolate chip cookies in town, and these are it. The raspberry matcha latte was wonderful, and I can't wait to go back and try the coffee.

During my past 2 visits I was unable to linger, so I ordered my latte “to go” and both times, they served it to me in their in-house ceramic mug.
Now, both times, I was busy reading the chalkboard menu on the wall, so I didn’t catch them using the wrong vessel until it was too late.

Here’s the problem with that:
both times I received no apology for their mistake, and they just turn around and dump it into a take-out cup, which screws up the layered ingredients ratio, which, in-turn effects the taste (also ruins the talented barista’s artistic design on top), and it’s not as enjoyable to savor.
That’s why there’s a real art to layering lattes because proper composition is everything with these kinds of beverages.

IF I return, I guess I’ll have to watch them from now on.

Dry Fly is an amazing cafe! Spacious and comfortable indoor & outdoor seating. Huge windows bring in natural light, along with the greenery of the rail trail. The food is some of the best I’ve ever had at a cafe. Everything is made with excellence & care by people who are happy and proud to work there. Excellent music selection too. Plus, Dry Fly has the best matcha I’ve had, outside of Teshima, Japan! It’s the perfect space to enjoy drinks on your own, to focus and do work, and to enjoy time with friends.

An absolutely adorable spot with great coffee. The vibe is chill, friendly and modern. The service was quick and the coffee was made perfectly. This place has become our new go to spot.

So many folks hanging here on a summer Friday, enjoying delicious coffees, teas and treats. Ambience off the rail trail. Funky and fun place to gather.

Got an avocado toast and the lemon puree is just an amazing touch, that makes it probably the best avocado toast I‘ve ever eaten.

Also got a cortado and enjoyed it a lot due to the light roast!

Definitely will come back if I‘m in the area!

Unexpectedly great upscale coffee shop right on a hiking snd biking trail. Good selection of breakfast sandwiches and eggs. Fresh locally selected yogurts with granola. Very clean and comfortable seating area.
