Great day out with friends. Food was great - service was even better. Our server Grace was funny and accommodating - hope we get her next time we go. Highly recommend.

Terrible service. Mediocre menu. Placed order after waiting 30 min. walked out. No sign of any waitress.

I've been to the middletown location a couple of times and most recently, to this New Paltz location twice in the past month. Both experiences were very good. The first time was with a large group of friends and most recently with just two other people. Our servers both times were very friendly and efficient and knew the menu well. They made suggestions when asked and were easily able to answer any questions that we had about the beer or food items. The beer is actually very good. I remember when the Gilded Otter was here - one of the first "craft" breweries in the area. GO was not all that great with their beer offerings and quality, but Clemson Bros. knows what they're doing when it comes to quality, taste and selection. The food was very good, also.

I have never felt compelled to write a negative review, but after our experience this past weekend, it is happening. My mom and sister were visiting and we were in New Paltz, so we went to the Gilded Otter for lunch. We each ordered a different item off the menu and every order was incorrect, one not even the right protein, she asked for shrimp, she received short rib. My mom asked for sour dough bread and specifically said she could not have marble rye and she received marble rye. The food server had to deal with it and our waitress was no where to be found. When we finally received our new sandwiches, I found out mine had cheese on both sides of the bread even though I asked for no cheese. Our waitress still was no where to be found so I had to pull off all the cheese which was not very pleasant. Then when we shared everything was incorrect when she finally did show up (after we were done) she did not seem to care one bit, the manager never came over to apologize, nothing. We of course will never go back. It is mind boggling, that no one cared.

We’re so glad we stopped by for lunch this afternoon. Hostesses were very friendly and Anthony our server was great. We had the truffle fries, chicken Waldorf salad and the French onion grilled cheese with jalepeno coleslaw on the side. Everything was delicious and the coffee was great as well. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Very disappointing. The mojito served to us was the worst ever (pic included). When I finally was able to get the servers' attention, I asked don't you normally have mint for the mojito. The servers response was "oh yeah we are all out of mint." I have never been served a mojito without mint... typically I would be told they don't have it. The Pretzels were delicious... server did a drive by and dropped them off at the opposite end of the table. No plates or silverware given. We were already here for 35 minutes at this point. Finally, our salads arrived after 50 minutes, and the server said I'll get forks. She delivered food to another table, and when the other server noticed, she dropped off silverware to us. I was hoping for a better experience since they have been around for a while since my last many years ago at the Middletown location. There were many other disappointing moments during our visit, but I don't care to waste anymore time here.

What a cool brewery right along the water. The place is large, open and industrial. Our waiter was super friendly and always came by to check on how we were doing. I had the Imperial Burger which was Bacon, goat cheese, arugula, pickled red onion & berry jam, served on a Brioche bun. Unfortunately, mine didn’t come with the berry jam but it was still good regardless. The fries were crispy and tasty.

Not sure why this place has so few stars. I just had a fantastic Imperial Burger (with pickled red onion, bacon and goat cheese). They had a very large burger selection, so figured that might be the way to go! I also had a great glass of Sauvignon Blanc! They brew beer, but have some Hudson Valley wines on tap. Service was friendly and prompt. We went to a place last night that cost much more and had many more stars, but I enjoyed my Imperial Burger + Hudson Valley Sauvignon Blanc much more, at about half the price!

First time here and the beers are amazing their burgers were absolutely delicious and comes with truffle fries. The staff were awesome and they have some great local NY state bourbon that are smooth. Definitely coming back to try their sandwiches

I stopped in today with my family and had an amazing experience. Food was delicious and our server Grace was amazing. The kindest soul and was on top of everything. I could tell she’s a very hard worker as she was seating, bussing and helping us all at once. Bravo!

1 hr wait from sitting to food seems a bit long especially when there was only 25 people. Ordered a CBR, it came with no bacon and no ranch. Fries were good but imo this place isn't worth a second visit.
