Hands the best bar tender in the area with some of the best tacos as well. Our bar tender Mike is alway on top of our orders great banter and super friendly with everyone he serves. His service as well as the friendly atmosphere keeps myself and my wife coming back again and again.

Same owners as Gucamole in Poughkeepsie hyde park!? No way! Food service not even close. How can it be so different? New paltz could be an amazing spot. I live over here and I'd rather drive across the bridge. You get out what you out in. When I got out to eat or pick up food I don't want to feel like I'm bothering you. I'm spending my hard earn money and even more importantly I'm spending my time which I can't ever get back.

This place got my hopes up by the seeming authenticity of the place, but I was sooo disappointed. The service was so slow even though the woman was trying her best it just took a long time. I ordered a DRY burrito because the WET burrito was with sour cream and other wets on top of the burrito and I wasn’t interested in that. However I received a WET burrito and I was so upset. It was bland as well. The birria tacos were also bland not worth it. Then there was a big beeping machine that pained my ears and made me want to leave immediately. Overall 3/10 ???

This place is a gem of a restaurant in New Paltz. I ordered the Elote trio to start. The corn is full sized and not cut in half. The first elote had mayo and queso fresco. The second had mayo, Tajin, and queso fresco, and the last one also had mayo, queso fresco, and chipotle ranch. For my main entre, I ordered the Chimichanga with Mole sauce. Their mole is top notch and has just the right amount of sweetness. The portion is rather large and you can easily get two meals out of it. Our waitress was also very attentive to us. Another plus is that they give you free chips and salsa! Check this place out if you can.

Stopped in on a busy Halloween night. The place was consistently full. One waitress and a bartender. Thought we would be waiting forever but nope that waitress was working her a__ off, not stopping for a moment. She definitely needs a day off and extra pay!! Good is always good here.

I'm not a connoisseur of Mexican food, but I had some really tasty shrimp tempura tacos that came to the table lightning fast!Margaritas were half off (and delicious) - another win!The atmosphere is lacking... there aren't any "good tables". There are a few tables smack in the middle of the restaurant, and then a long bench against the wall, and the chairs are pretty uncomfortable.All in all, it's a good choice for taco tuesdays.

Oh my goodness. Yummmmm! This place was fabulous. Everything was a 5... From the tastiness of the food, the ambience, and service. The shrimp tacos were so tasty and the shrimp was marinated n fiesta spices. My daughter loved the Birria tacos and especially loved the classic dipping sauce. My other daughter had a Birilla Ramen bowl and it was so unique and tasty... Never even thought of having Birria as a Ramen... Slay!!!!. The guacamole was amazing and the salt and lime juice were well balanced. My only recommendation is to have the house salsa in a bigger bowl for dipping... Hard to get the chip in that little container.I will definitely be back with friends. ENJOY ~Nini :)
